I missed that part of the game? Is he OK? Without Butler the Wolves look like, well, the Wolves who don't scare anybody over 7 games. Isn't too different than the Jazz with and without Gobert. Sometimes one stud actually makes a difference between being decent or really good.

LOL. My first thought was "those are the ugliest uniforms I have ever seen". Then I saw KAT's lime green shoes and Taj's(?) baby blues and it really hit me. The league needs to intervene so fan's eyes aren't damaged by awful sartorial taste.

Man, the Spurs are so not the Spurs. I'm not even sure that Kawhi would help much. Looks like the Spurs ran out of crazy young prospects and Parker, Ginobli and Pao are just flat out old and it shows. Seems crazy to count the Spurs out but they just don't look like they have another gear right when the pack starts separating. OKC doesn't look super-scary either but with Westbrook having another MVP worthy season one never knows.

I'm starting the think Spurs and Wolves are the teams missing the playoffs. Those two teams are just not looking good. Spurs are like 2-8 last ten and Wolves are like 4-6 last ten. Falling fast while the 8 9 tenth teams are killing it. Tonight is a HUGE game for jazz making the playoffs. HUGE.

An article on Real GM today says Kawhi is likely to return Thursday, so don't count the Spurs out just yet. The probabilities don't favor Kawhi returning in superstar form from day one, but it is not out of the realm of possibility that his return sparks a turnaround.

He could be returning in hopes to keep spurs in the playoffs? Not sure that'll help the spurs resigning him later on? Pressure in on for him to play starting at the top. Not sure he'll be enough to keep them in the playoffs? GSW sucked tonight. Should'v help the jazz beating the wolves today. Freaking hate them even more now. GSW.

Hopefully they are not rushing him back and putting him in a position to re-injure himself.

The Nuggets had recently dropped two games they should have won, against the Mavs and Lakers. They seem to have some difficulties since Millsap came back. Also, OKC is winning but they get into very close games against very weak teams like the Kings and Hawks.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Questions:

GS did,'t play 3 starters and no talks about fines etc. What is the difference with Spurs story a few years ago? Beyond of course difference in small/big market.... And is really Oakland a bigger market?

All of them are legitimately injured, and yes, the bay area is a large market and definitely a destination place to live.

Hopefully they will still be out when we play them.

Igor Kokoskov was mentioned as potential head coaching candidate by Marc Stein. I expect him to be a lead candidate for all job openings this summer.

He’ll be sought after too, I think both will be head coaches next season. Fiz is probably a better coach for an older team who needs more of a personality manager. Igor will probably land with a younger team. Especially if it’s Luka’s new team.
