2021-22
Rudy Gobert -------- $35,344,828
Donovan Mitchell -- $28,103,550
Mike Conley -------- $25,000,000 (if true)
Bojan Bogdanovic - $18,700,000
Joe Ingles ---------- $14,000,000
Jordan Clarkson --- $12,420,000
Royce O'neale ------ $8,678,571
Udoka Azubuike --- $2,075,880
Miye Oni ------------ $1,782,621 (ung. likely stays)
Matt Thomas ------- $1,782,621 (ung. likely cut)
Elijah Hughes ------ $1,517,981 (ung. likely stays)
Total: $149,406,052
Tax: $136,000,000
+ Butler

e.g.
Bojan for Maxi Kleber with Green + Burke going to OKC for salary matching
Ingles for Eric Paschall and GSW 2022 1st (1-14, 2 2nds) with Looney + Mulder + 2 2nds going to a third team for salary matching
Clarkson to Denver, Morris + Bol Bol to NYK, 2023 DAL 1st (1-10, 1-10, 1-10, 2nd) to Utah

Eventually perhaps. But out of those example proposed deals despite receiving draft picks. I just don't think is anything Utah is interested in doing; those 3 guys made 571 3s.. you're replacing them with Maxi 87, Paschall 18, Monte 51.. what an absolute collapse of what made us the best team in the league. First round picks clearly aren't that important to the jazz. They're going to field the best team they can and in these example moves they aren't even getting high upside guys. That being said I do like Maxi a lot. But I'm not giving up Bogey for him.

I would package a couple of those together if we can get one better player like a Bogie + Ingles for Hield. But the chances of that happening I think are pretty slim. So I think we might be running back the same team minus Favs.

Bogie and Ingles are much better than Buddy.

True but they're also older. To where it gives me pause. That being said, I don't think Kings are interested in older talent like that.

I agree, that was just an example to explain what I was saying (maybe a poor example I should have said Ingram but that really aint happening). That being said if Conley wasn't coming back I might actually look at it then move Spida to PG and run with Buddy. But Sacramento would have to send more back to make it work anyways.

If I were the Jazz I would take a flyer on Alex Antetokounmpo. Giannis said he was going to be the best of the brothers. He's playing for Sacramento's summer league team. WTHN? Gotta sign some guys at the minimum.

I think my favorite option for the MLE right now is Otto Porter. He's had tough years with injuries similar to Batum last year... but if you can get him in for a checkup and negotiations and he seems healthy and you think you can keep him healthy. I'd go all in on that one...

Otto Porter would be good if we thought he could stay healthy. Another option for a backup pG is Patty Mills. He has always been a stud on the court.

Looks like Brantley and Forrest are back unless they get some crazy deal from another team

I'm glad to have both back. I think Brantley can become a really good backup big. If Quin would have actually made an effort to develop him last year I think he would have been far more useful than Niang in the playoffs.

I like them both being back. Iggy was waived, he might be an option at the min, do we have the BAE?

If healthy, he would be a great pickup. Do you think he has sunk to the $6M range?

From what I have read, probably. Apparently he’s out of shape and it’s affected his game, his drive might be gone.

I like the idea of Porter but I haven't seen him play the last few years and I'm concerned he has lost a lot of athleticism. I would like to try and break up the mle between Furkan Korkmaz and Frank Ntilikina. Then possible minimum contract guys I would be looking at are Stanley Johnson, Tony Snell, James Johnson, DJ Wilson, Dante Exum, Frank Kaminsky and Meyers Leonard. Ntilikina may be a minimum contract guy as well but I would like to get him on a 3yr contract with at least one team option so we would probably have to pay a little more to make that a possibility. I'm not sure what Kormaz value is but I've I always liked him and think he still has a lot of room to improve.

If the plan is to keep the core together (resign Conley), I think I use a good part of the MLE on Rudy Gay (I liked Otto a couple years ago but I just don't know what happened to him) You s/b able to get 15 mpg. He has ties with Conley from their Memphis days.

It would be impressive if Zanik can sign Conley to a 3 yr $60M deal while CP3 and Lowry are getting $90M deals.

Oh I agree, just the fact we wasted a 2nd on him.
