Okay, (I hope) the Jazz have little interest in Wagner....though I guess they interviewed him, so...

Kuzma and Jackson were easily the two best players in this second scrimmage. If the Jazz wanted to give Frank a promise they needed to do it yesterday. He's gonna rise.

Yeh, he's looked very comfortable and good. Versatile skillset.

Good news. If that guy can maximize his athleticism, he could become an impact player.

The most unsurprising great max vert - Hamidou Diallo - 44.5"

Looks like he only shrunk 1.5 inches on his standing reach too. Still don't think vert means much, but that's impressive.

I love this draft. So many good players... well into the 20s. It's a great draft to have 4 draft picks and 2 first rounders.

Frank having a tough time getting shots to fall in this second half, but Kuzma hit another 3. If he can shoot he's going to make it. Everything about his shot looks good except for the percentages.

Is he getting himself space? That's the most important thing.

He's playing a pick and pop 4 right now, so not much off the dribble. He has scored by creating his own shot though. I don't know if that's what you meant.

Was asking if Frank can beat guys off the dribble and get himself space to shoot.

Oh, haha. For some reason I thought you were talking about Kuzma. Getting by his defender was not a problem for Frank at all. His jumpers mainly came off the high pick and roll.

KYLE KUZMA, JUNIOR, POWER FORWARD, UTAH

20 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 4-5 2P, 4-5 3P, 20 minutes

The 6' 9.5 Kuzma proved to be one of the most offensively talented prospects to play 5-on-5, as he showed how projectable his game is when he's knocking down shots with consistency (something he struggled with at times at Utah). Sporting a quick release with sound mechanics, Kuzma made four spot threes, knocked down a one-dribble pull up and looked really comfortable attacking off the bounce and finding teammates on the move. The Flint, Michigan native, who already decided to forego his senior season and sign with an agent, still needs to get make strides defensively, but he certainly helped his stock with his game-one performance and, if he can shoot it well enough in workouts, could hear his name called in the first half of the second round (or even potentially late first) pending his remaining workouts and interviews. - Source: http://www.draftexpress.com/article/nba-combine-competitive-action-recap-day-one-5928/ ©DraftExpress

FRANK JACKSON, FRESHMAN, POINT GUARD/SHOOTING GUARD, DUKE

13 points, 4 assists, 1 steal, 6-10 2P, 0-2 3P, 20 minutes

Jackson, who has yet to decide whether he'll sign with an agent, was able to get to the rim at will by way of his powerful explosiveness and strength (202 pounds) while sitting down in a stance and competing on the defensive end. Playing mostly on the ball, Jackson is an aggressive score-first combo guard who should be able to fill it up at all three levels with NBA spacing (even though he missed both of his triples on Thursday). Jackson's decision making, point guard skills and ability to shift gears could still use some polish, but he helped himself on Thursday and has the talent to potentially be on the fringe of the first round if he decides to stay in the draft. - Source: http://www.draftexpress.com/article/nba-combine-competitive-action-recap-day-one-5928/ ©DraftExpress

I'm all in on Frank Jackson. He reminds of another prospect I was in love with, Austin Rivers (LOL). I can't look past guys with explosive athleticism, handle, and a little bit of shooting ability. Frank will have to learn how to play defense like Rivers did, but I think he's the better shooter. Also has a very good head on his shoulders.

Give him the promise now. Fran Frashilla was already saying that he won't play another game and could rise to the middle of the first round.

Gonna have to take at 24 if the Jazz want him. A total shot in the dark. But if you want a star at 24 have to take a leap of faith. Going safe for someone like Leaf or Kuzma will not produce a star.
