Bam can’t go to Brooklyn for Durant because of Simmons.

He can go to a third team, though, and someone will pay out the nose for him.

For sure.

Posted this on the trade board:

babyjax13 wrote:Boston trades: Daniel Theis, Aaron Nesmith, Juwan Morgan, Malik Fitts, 2023 BOS 1st (1-14 thru 2026, 2 2nds)
Utah trades: Bojan Bogdanovic

Ainge brings in a player he recently drafted + a trusted vet. The Jazz also bring in two young players that started their development in Utah and continued it in Boston, and some familiar faces for Hardy to work with. The Jazz also return a first to help replenish their lack of youth. I'll be gutted when Bojan is gone because he's been my favorite Jazz role player for a long time, but I'd be happy to see him on a contender.

Boston gets a scoring 3/4 who is much better than the rumored targets thus far for their TPE while also moving off of Theis's contract (considering his redundancy). This opens up avenues to use their TPE in different ways, and they can always have two 6-6 guys on the court who can score.

I think this would be a nice second trade after the Royce deal that leaves us with more latitude to make meaningful trades. We've also apparently opened up the full MLE b/c of the Royce trade.

Utah fans let me know if you like, love, hate or feel Lukewarm

KD & Kyrie

For

Donovan Mitchell, Mike Conley, Jordan Clarkson, and Udoka Azibuike

(This worked in the ESPN trade machine)

Edit - multiple picks & swaps would need to be included

I assume around 5 or 6

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Nevermind, Donovan Mitchell can't go to Brooklyn with Ben Simmons on the squad

Read the same thing, what a master class by Danny Ainge, trade Gobert for a haul then sign Ayton.

If Ainge manages to get Ayton that would be amazing.

Fournier, Reddish, Grimes, Knicks Unprotected '23, '25, '27 and '29 Picks, the conditional '23 Mavs 1st, '23 Pistons 1st, '23 Wizards 1st and Top 4 Protected Bucks 1st for Mitchell?

8 1sts?

This would seem to fit what Tony Jones was saying earlier:

If Ainge and Zanik receive an offer from a team that approaches the scale of the Gobert trade, it will be hard to not listen

Suns fan here.

Would you do Ayton, 3 firsts, 3 swaps for Mitchell?

No

With Mitchell gone, why we need Ayton?

3 firsts, assuming 23, 25 and 27 or 24, 26 and 28. The next 4th-year sun picks are in the range of 15+ to 30. The last pick may be useful.

3 swaps value is very little. Assuming Sun is 50+ winning per season in the next few years.

I won't do that trade, and I prefer re-tool around DM, step back 1 year, we have Pick, salary cap as well.

That honestly wouldn’t surprise me if this was the final deal

Maybe this is the deal killer, but I would rather get RJ Barret with Reddish and fewer picks from NYK (2 or 3?). I know you have to take Fournier to make the salaries work but I would also try to move Rudy Gay as part of that deal. Let the Knicks buy him out.

I am curious why Atlanta hasn't been able to move Collins??? If the Jazz are moving and getting younger I would look at Bogey for Collins. From what I have read Atlanta doesn't want so many long term big contracts.

I don't see a deal getting done with the Heat any time soon.

Return to Utah Jazz
