Foolishness. The option will be picked up. Utah might keep him, but my bet is that he'll be traded. Either way, CJ is far and away from having negative value.

The eye test and statistical analysis both confirm that CJ Miles is a detriment. But you're free to your opinion.

Wow...people sure have strong feelings in here. From CJ's tweets yesterday, it sounds like Hornacek was out to see him for a workout. And CJ hopes the Jazz pick up the option. Interesting a coach is out working with him if they did not plan on picking up the option. So all personal feelings aside I'd say it is likely he is picked up for another year.

I suspect it will be picked up as well. I expect nothing positive from him next season, but would be ecstatic if he finally "put it all together," like people have been saying he would for several years. He's an extremely likable person, so I wish him all the best, whatever happens.

He may be making his own assessment to see if CJ has been following his off season workout plan.

I'd like to see the Jazz pick up CJ for one year so the team can get a better pick in next year's loaded draft.

who is 2nd and 3rd on that list. +/- means nothing

who is 2nd and 3rd on that list is not that significant cause those guys played only 11% and 18% of the team's total minutes. It's very significant stat for player who played 40+% of the team's total minutes.

As far as Fesenko, I remember stats from 2010 2nd round series versus Lakers (NBA champions): starting lineup of Williams-Matthews-Miles-Boozer-Fesenko had 121-106 record in their minutes. It's called a presence of legit 7-footer (Fesenko) and legit wings (both Matthews and Miles were threats from outside and around the rim), that's what superstars Williams and Boozer needed. Btw, check out Miles and Matthews stats in reg season and playoffs of 2009/10 to get a grip on expectations for next CJ's contract.
I should be on Lacob payroll...

Maybe people start realizing CJ isn't worth the trouble. Looks like Corbin already has.
