He's the only one playing worth **** here. Also, he has to be the big man that get the least amount of fouls called on him. He constantly fakes his guy in the air, draws contact and no call. Bell on the other had, sucks all around and causes our team to play horribly at the start of 1st and 3rd qtrs on both ends.

Ever notice how, in Al's entire career, he always puts up good stats on bad teams? And how his teammates are worse with him?

Because I have.

This is an empty argument, he's never been on a team that was worth a damn. I wouldn't mind seeing him gone - but it isn't because he is an "innefficient black hole" - it's because we have Favors, Kanter and Evans.

The Wolves got better when they traded him for nothing.

Because Kevin Love is a better player and putting the two on the floor together is a recipe for disaster - just like throwing he and Millsap into the mix. I'm sure we can go back and forth all day on this, but I don't think it's really worth it for either of us.

The best stretch of the game, by far, was when Favors/Kanter/Burks were on the court at the same time.

How is it empty. His production doesn't lead to wins. How many games has Al won being the #1 option.

To the Jazz fans in here that like Big Al's game, I really hope that some GMs share your perspective so we can rip off some poor team the same way Minny ripped us off.

The only thing that it points to is that he isn't a number one option, or at least not without a good supporting cast (which we all knew). Kevin Garnett could barely get those players in Minnesota to the playoffs, so it was a huge stretch to assume that a 22 year old Al Jefferson could. His production wasn't the issue, the team sucked - just like ours. Some players can be "franchise players" a la Dwayne Wade, Al Jefferson isn't even close - but that doesn't make him a bad, or inefficient player, it just makes him another Pau Gasol/Zach Randolph/Rasheed Wallace second fiddle.

How the hell can anybody think Al's not a black hole? First off, he only has one way of scoring. He's ineffective in the pick and roll because he's terrible at catching the ball and doing something with it right away. For his entire career, he's always had to catch the ball, stop, and use his post moves to score, and for the most part, once he starts those post moves, you can forget about him passing out of them.

That's his only way at scoring, and for a center, he's horribly inefficient at it. He's hovering around 50% and rarely draws fouls. His only redeeming quality is that he doesn't turn the ball over, but even then that "push shot" of his is as good as a turnover, so it doesn't mean much.

Al Jefferson's game is the textbook definition of inefficient black hole.

Thats a huge insult to gasol. but any who Why is burs only getting less than three min. Its apparent that bell a defensive specialist is getting burned left and right at least burks can penetrate and create.

There's no use arguing about it, I disagree completely. He has his faults, but so does every player. For the most part, his production is worth it (for a playoff team). On our team he just keeps the young guys from playing (as does Millsap). I'd like to see he and Paul moved to better situations for them and us.

I don't get the people that say Burks has to "earn his minutes". What has Bell done to earn his minutes? What has CJ done?

Burks in his brief 9 minutes in Denver looked better than Bell has in his entire second stint in Utah. Shoot, in 3 minutes tonight Burks hit as many FGs and Bell and CJ combined.

I didn't say he was as good as Gasol, I said Gasol wasn't good enough to lead his own team to the championship (on his own) or to the playoffs without a good supporting cast (which he proved in Memphis).
