How the hell can anybody think Al's not a black hole? First off, he only has one way of scoring. He's ineffective in the pick and roll because he's terrible at catching the ball and doing something with it right away. For his entire career, he's always had to catch the ball, stop, and use his post moves to score, and for the most part, once he starts those post moves, you can forget about him passing out of them.
That's his only way at scoring, and for a center, he's horribly inefficient at it. He's hovering around 50% and rarely draws fouls. His only redeeming quality is that he doesn't turn the ball over, but even then that "push shot" of his is as good as a turnover, so it doesn't mean much.
Al Jefferson's game is the textbook definition of inefficient black hole.
