Can't get excited about a guy who still hasn't hit the rim on a jumper in the NBA.

Jalen Smith from Maryland looks viable as a Thomas Bryant / Jontay Porter-type stretch 5, if you're into that sort of thing. Not super athletic or high-motor, but serviceable.

Patrick Williams is a tough, defensive-minded forward in the mold of a James Johnson. He needs to improve his 3pt shooting though by about 5 percentage points. If his offense develops, he could be a bit similar to Jimmy Butler.

Oni, Tucker and Brantley all have potential as wing defenders. Part of it is just having more size and athleticism on the wing. We lose some when Conley is on the floor and guys play up a position.

What do you guys think of Aaron Nesmith from Vanderbilt? He seems like a sharpshooter on the wing. How is his defense? Can he be a 3&D wing?

He seems like one of the best shooters in the draft and has a few smooth scoring moves. He can hit from all over the perimeter and step into midrange. He's got good size and a bit of athleticism, but not much. He reminds me a bit of Caris Levert at Michigan. I don't expect him to be a lock-down defender, but he can knock down shots and score off the dribble. The question with him will be his defense probably.

Last year his weakness was the 3 ball but he has improved that dramatically and it is now a strength. Imagining his length defensively with Rudy would be something special to watch. I have to imagine that if he keeps up his current level of play he will move up draft boards into the teens at least.

JS is quicker, more mobile and more explosive than I thought. I was comparing him to Thomas Bryant, but he's a bit quicker and I think he can play at the 4. He has a nice developing inside-outside game and can do a bit off the dribble. Now shooting 37% from 3pt.

Tyler Bey is the type of explosive athlete we need on the wing -- 6'7" / 218 lbs / 7'0" ws. Great measurables and good body control with the ability to attack the rim off the bounce. He'd need to learn how to shoot though.

So yeah, I like several guys: Saddiq Bey, Aaron Nesmith, Tyler Bey, Patrick Williams, Jalen Smith and Jordan Nwora. Not sure what order to put them in.

Cassius Stanley from Duke is giving me Kerry Kittles vibes. I need to see him beat guys off the dribble and shoot consistently before I believe in him as an impact player.

I think he translates as a power forward. I love him, definitely a target where we are.

He drives and has some post moves like Aaron Gordon. Similar measurables too.

Polish youth international olek balcerowski. Project big @7'2. Big project but might bloom late with work. Workable jumper. Soft hands, feet work, mobile. Soft. Lot to learn and grow into his 7'2 frame.

If you need an obscure Polish Euro distraction, you should play Gwent! 8-)

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

I could see us trying to move for Okoro. He gives me Donovan Mitchell vibes in terms of just having so much more than people think he does + developing really fast.

We'd have to trade up. Who are we trading -- 24 + ? Also, you think he beats out Rayjon Tucker in the rotation?

Add Jaden McDaniels to my wishlist, though I expect him to go top 10 when it's said and done.

We would really have to trade up...but if he slipped maybe Bojan would be enough to get say Portland's pick. Could he beat out Tucker? I think so...idk he looks scary good to me.

Per McDaniels, I love the tools, but he's less polished than even Ingram was coming into the NBA. Not sure what his upside really is.

If a rookie does this in Summer League, people would get pretty excited.

Regarding Jaden McDaniels, he's a year or so away for sure, but the talent is unique.

I'll be shocked if he doesn't go top 10, but putting him next to Mitchell and Gobert would be sweet.

I want Rayjon Tucker watching so many clips of young Eric Gordon driving to the rim, lol
