I HATE this pick. I really think this FO just absolutely sucks at drafting. I must be wrong about Ace, he must be the wrong pick. God.

Is it too early to fire Nepo-baby Ainge?

I think Smith is one of those guys who just loves his alma mater and will hire BYU guys no matter what.

The Jazz essentially traded up from 21 to 18 & tossed in second-rounders to get Walter Clayton Jr. I think that’s a great job by the Ainge’s

I didn't like Will Riley that much but would have preferred him to WCJ. damn, this draft took a disappointing turn.

I’m surprised there haven’t been more trades and movement. Especially with us, but also in general.

Maybe it's better the Jazz not make any trades after that WCJ trade. But I think they will make a lot of personnel moves this offseason.

I just don’t know why we would go into the season with Sexton, Collins, or Clarkson on the roster. At least trade them to the Bucks for Lillard and a FRP……or something like that.

I think at least two of them will be traded.

Watching post draft talk and guy on NBA channel talked about players to high and to low. Kon was little to high while he said WCJ should've went top ten. Was Washington fan and was thrilled until he seen them trade him away. So time will tell.

I didn’t watch any of WCJ tape so I don’t have an opinion. But the consensus by most is he is really good and the Jazz got a steal. But he is “old”, small, and college playoff hero's don’t usually seem to pan out IMO, so it reminds me of Jimmer and other players of that ilk. So that makes me nervous.

Honestly I trust this board more than the national people. I’ve been on here for over a decade and I remember those of us who were screaming when we drafted Lyles over Booker. So I’m inclined to trust the veterans on this board more than the national guys.

This draft is a timely reminder that Utah is maybe the most disadvantaged team in the NBA when it comes to team building. The majority of guys not only don't want to go to Utah, but it is literally last on their list of choices. You could see how annoyed Ace was.

If OKC can win a chip so can Utah. Utah is way better place to live than many places.

To you and me, sure. To the average NBA player? Utah is probably dead last of we polled NBA players.

I’m not so sure about that. But I’ll concede we are easily towards the bottom.

Thank god. If we were 2-4 years farther along in the rebuild and we had our young stars I’d love to keep those guys, but it just doesn’t make sense to keep them. Just offload Collins and Sexton for an unprotected pick for Dame, PG, or whomever. Maybe to LA for a pick and to drop the restrictions on the 27 pick. I don’t know….something. Hell….trade them for the rights to a bunch of overseas guys who are stashed who could be helpful in 2-4 years. If all we can get is 2nd round picks fine. Just something.

I’m just preaching to the choir though. You guys all probably agree with that.

I do agree. But ever since that Doncic trade the restrictions on that 2027 pick don't really matter that much. That freakin' Nico.. :nonono:
