Okay guys am I just being paranoid or was last night's game fixed before the tip off? I mean the NBA releases a statement that said CJ fouled KD on the final shot, and the refs missed the call. So the next night our good friend Joe Crawford gets to officiate our game and I swear the NBA was trying to make an example.
Twice there was a foul called under the basket during a Houston jumpshot that gave Scola extra free throws (one of those being a 3 point shot). Millsap and Matthews did not get any calls in their favor. It felt like anytime there was a whistle blown it was against Utah. Millsap, who was having a great first half and keeping the Jazz in striking distance picks up the worst ticky tack foul which was his 3rd so he had to sit.
Now I'm never one to blame the refs, I think teams will be on both sides of questionable calls throughout the season but last night seemed premeditated and intentional. I got the feeling last night for the first time that the NBA might be rigged.
Am I crazy Jazz fans? Did any of you get the same feeling or were the Jazz just a step slow and worn out from the OKC game?

We played like dog **** last night. Yeah there were some bad calls, but not enough to put us under for a loss. We dug our own grave long before that.

Showed no heart. Every team is tired, Phoenix and Denver took care of business, Jazz didn't.

The refs did not decide this game. The Jazz never played with enough energy to even make it close. Houston played on the road the night before, same as us. It is time to admit that this team is missing something that makes contenders-desire.

Jazz lost the game, not the refs.
However that doesn't rule out the possibility of slightly biased officiating to push the desired result along. Honestly, who would be surprised if that was a real issue in the NBA? Not me.

The NBA really meant that the call was wrong because Durant is a superstar. In the future all end of game calls must go in Durants favor.

Re: Jazz never had a chance against Houston
Last night the Jazz had no heart! They can get up and play with the best of the teams, but home court is a huge advantage when each team is so close. With how close all the west teams are in talent home court could be the deciding factor. Hopefully we win the last 3 games, including our Phoenix game which is the tail end of a back to back. So the team might be "too tired" to care.
Even if the refs were going to stage the game, they didn't have to.

They were draining so many threes that when The Jazz looked at it, it was too late.
This game had nothing to do with the refs.

I didn't watch very long, but, I didn't see any glaring bad calls.
I saw Boozer dogging it repeatedly though.
I also saw a hot shooting Houston team.
We might have lost had we not been tired. Houston was playing very well.

"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

It would be nice if the NBA could reduce the number of back to back games they have each season.
That being said, OKC almost won their game, we didn't even compete. True, Westbrook also had 7 TOs, but I was still majorly disappointed that the Jazz didn't show up at all to the game.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

Re: Jazz never had a chance against Houston
Very Very interesting thing just happened. The exact same thing happened to Fisher on the Lakers last night against Denver. A final second shot and a hand touch foul (by Carmelo) and the shot comes up considerable short! It was a three pointer too. Exactly the same thing except at the end of regulation instead of OT.
Watch what happens. Not much talk.....Not much discussion. I think there is some bias against the Utah based Jazz.
Is the NBA going to put out a release stating they missed the Fisher foul too? We will see.
