Boozer didn't speak with the press. He just got a short word in with Boler. He will be getting x-rays tomorrow to see the extent of the injury. hopefully it's just a mild strain that he can play through.

I hope this is true. We are bad enough without AK, Boozer gives us a chance.

Well they already did an x-ray and it was negative. They said they'll do an MRI. But no way does Boozer sit this game.

Boozer sits tomorrow...get rid of him in off season....I generally hope he plays tomorrow. Ak-47 might be ineffective when he comes back so lets hope we play portland in first round as the spurs will give us trouble. We need a jazz victory tomorrow and a spurs win over dallas otherwise we may not get out of round one

If Boozer is out, I would probably rather face Portland in the first round, so I'd hope the Jazz would win and the Spurs would lose tomorrow.
I know not having HCA in the second round would hurt, but having to face the Spurs in the first round with out Boozer (if he is hurt) with the way they are playing right now sounds even worse.
Go Jazz and Mavs.

LOL, can you guys imagine Hot Rod announcing "Malone just got a muscle strain in his rib, he will not return tonight".
What a bunch of **** man.

I can imagine any other player in the world getting hurt, yeah. Seriously, just because Malone was one player with bones made of steal and connective tissue made of, I dunno, steel wool, doesn't mean that's normal. I just don't like your logic there. Boozer's going to give it his all and play.

We're spoiled fans. When Deron got his fingers stepped on the first thing I said was, "How often did you see Stockton roll on the ground in pain for five minutes? Deron does it every other game." The same thing is going to happen to Greg Miller and who ever replaces Sloan.

That is not fair to boozer, He has been great this year. If we lost him we would be the 10th seed. I think he may play tonight. If not he will be there for the playoff opener.
Malone and stockton were not normal players when it comes to injuries, and we should not expect anyone to be like them when it comes to injuries.

About 10 minutes ago I stubbed my toe. I yelled and moaned for 10 minutes.

Well, maybe it was 20 minutes ago, because I'm not still yelling.

Why the hell isn't it fair?
The thing that made Malone such an Iron Man was his work ethic, and conditioning.
Why is it unfair to expect the same from the current players?

You read it in a blog from Gabe Muonoke (sp?), who spent a preseason camp with the jazz a couple years ago... Boozer is the hardest working member of the Jazz. If he can play effectively, he will play.

So if that is the formula to Malone's stellar career in avoiding injury for all those years, and it isn't unfair to expect that from today's players, shouldn't everyone on the team (and in the league for that matter) be as "iron man" as Malone was? Does that make the entire league a bunch of slackers since they don't measure up?
If Malone was special in avoiding injury, by definition means he separates himself from his peers thus it would NOT be fair to expect the same from anyone or everyone else.
