I think I figured this right. If the Jazz win, the Jazz will be playing the Blazers in round one. If Jazz lose they play Denver, it is as simple as that. (Assumes Blazers win tonight)

Jazz Win/Dallas Wins then Jazz 3rd seed and play Blazers 6th seed
Jazz Win/Dallas Loses then Jazz get 2nd seed and play spurs 7th seed
Jazz Lose/Dallas Wins then Jazz 5th seed and play Nuggets 4th seed
Jazz Lose/Dallas Loses then Jazz 5th seed and play Nuggets Denver 4th seed

I dont want to see Denver in round one then Lakers in round two so this game is a must win!!!! Much easier to see injured Blazers round one and Dallas in round 2

You're missing one scenario: If the Jazz/Blazers/Spurs all win tonight, Jazz play the Spurs in the first round. Any other outcome is either Jazz/Blazers or Nuggets/Jazz

No, because PHO would have a better record than Denver. If we lose tonight the seedings will be 2. Dallas, 3. Phoenix, 4. Denver, 5. Utah regardless of how Dallas/Spurs goes
