Keep Millsap on the bench

This could probably go in the game 2 thread, but there isn't one up yet. Does Sloan plan on starting Millsap in place of Okur? If so, I think this is a mistake. It leaves us with a very thin bench and only Korver coming in that can make an impact.
I really think we should start Fes, it keeps Millsap out of early foul trouble, and gives us some size against Martin/Nene. Hopefully, it also should prevent us from having Fes and Doufus in the game at the same time.
Clearly Millsap and Booz should play the bulk of the minutes, and I'm sure they will play in the 4th quarter. I just think there are a lot of advantages to starting Fes and let Millsap be the first guy off the bench.
Does anyone know what the starting lineup will be tonight?

Sloan has announced that Millsap is coming off the bench and either starting Fess or Kosta. I would think it would be Fess but from Sloan's remarks it sounds like Kosta.

At least Fes is a big body, Koufus is as soft as they come

Doesn't really matter who starts, either of those guys will foul out if they get 20+ min of PT

I guess Fes could be a little less embarrassing, on a few rare occasions he showed he could actually contribute a bit. Kosta looks even farther away from being a passable rotation big man in the NBA. Still, it's a pretty marginal difference indeed.

Probably. The question is: can either one of them foul out after at least doing something useful in the game?

Yes, we need Millsap and Boozer in the 4th, not the first.

Fesenko should be the starter. And if he actually contributes probably he should play some 4th quarter minutes too.

I hope Fes comes out with some balls. What we need most is a spark, a big play and some attitude to get the team in the right mode.

Kufos? He's looked like dogcrap all year. At least Fes has had a few glimmers of good play.

Just heard on the radio that Fes is starting. C'mon Fes man the F up and play your best game.

Lets show Fes a photocopy of Jerome James's last contract.
