Utah's bigs go 0 for 0 ????

Post#1 » by idajazz » Mon May 3, 2010 4:29 pm

How is it even possible that the Utah bigs combined got ZERO!!! :o (yes you are reading that right)
Zero freaking free throws in game one?
Booz, Sap, Fes, Koufos went to the line exactly 0 times in game 1!!!
I find that shocking.

Somebody please explain it to me?

They were preferring fade away jumpshots, but I think that was due to the no calls they were getting in the 1st qtr. Boozer even got a tech for complaining.

Weren't aggressive enough I guess.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Boozer and Millsap were trying to work inside some in the 2nd half, but weren't getting any calls in there around Odom and Gasol--granted many of the blocks were clean but when it was close the call went to the home team/defending champions--which is pretty standard in the NBA, like it or not. :-?

not even an over the back while in the penalty?
I haven't done any checking, but I wonder if that has happened before to the Jazz?
Not one free throw from the 4 and 5?

I remember seeing that and think when was the last time boozer got a tech for complaining about a no call.

Not that long ago. He threw his arms in the air in a recent game and got one. It's true though, Boozer got hit in the face on one play and got nothing. Just a couple of calls could have changed the outcome of the game.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...
