How is it even possible that the Utah bigs combined got ZERO!!!

(yes you are reading that right)
Zero freaking free throws in game one?
Booz, Sap, Fes, Koufos went to the line exactly 0 times in game 1!!!
I find that shocking.
Somebody please explain it to me?

They were preferring fade away jumpshots, but I think that was due to the no calls they were getting in the 1st qtr. Boozer even got a tech for complaining.
Welcome To David Sterns NBA.

Boozer and Millsap were trying to work inside some in the 2nd half, but weren't getting any calls in there around Odom and Gasol--granted many of the blocks were clean but when it was close the call went to the home team/defending champions--which is pretty standard in the NBA, like it or not.

not even an over the back while in the penalty?
I haven't done any checking, but I wonder if that has happened before to the Jazz?
Not one free throw from the 4 and 5?

I remember seeing that and think when was the last time boozer got a tech for complaining about a no call.

Not that long ago. He threw his arms in the air in a recent game and got one. It's true though, Boozer got hit in the face on one play and got nothing. Just a couple of calls could have changed the outcome of the game.
