I think this one is going to be contentious. Will people be choosing for quality or for value?
Both my two picks are a lil overpriced. So, I'm not going for value here.
1st - I like The Other Place downtown. I haven't been there in a while since I moved out of downtown, but, I always enjoyed them while I was there. Good bacon. Good hashbrowns. Good coffee. Not much to dislike. They were cheap once upon a time as well, but have since moved into spendy catagory.
2nd - There is a pancake house on 21st south and 9thish East. Name is escaping me. I really liked their Tahitian Crepes. My only complaint was that it wasn't much food for the money. Would have benefitted from included a side of meat and hashbrowns. Oh, and the hours sucked. Be sure to know if they are open before you head out.

"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Anyways, here's my Blue Plate Diner image.

Another Drive In Diners and Dives selection. It's great, but pretentious.
I also love Ruth's Diner which was on the show.
The place I go to now is No Worries at Parley's Summit. The Dante's Inferno is amazing.

I'm pretty sure he mean's the Olympian.
I use to love Kostas on 11th east and about 14th south, they had the best breakfast, but they are gone now.
Market Street Breakfast is great, pretty much everything there is good. Also Coachmen's crepe's are good with lingonberries.

I believe he is referring to The Original Pancake House. I've never been, but i heard it was excellent and a little pricey.
