Who is your sleeper in this draft?
Which 2nd round guy or undrafted guy will make the biggest splash in the NBA. I think Omar Samhan from St. Maries is going to surprise some. I saw him in person against USU and he is a beast. He also showed great skills during the NCAA tournament. I think he would be a good target in the 2nd round.
He is a little slower but he makes up for it in toughness. He would need to work on his passing skills, but might be worth the risk. I think I read somewhere that he averaged 3 blocks per game last season.

Artsiom Parahouski led the ncaa in rebounding last season, plus he is around 7 feet tall, and about 270 lbs. Just saying rebounding usually equals out to hustle player.

Artsiom Parahouski is opening a lot of eyes with his shooting ability too. I doubt he is going to drop to Jazz's 2nd round pick.
I like Torrance too- he is a PG with size. http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Mik ... ance-5846/

Well no one defined that they had to be a second round guy...
If you are talking 2nd round I like....
Craig Brackins: Would have been a lotto pick had he come out of school last year. Dropped off this season because of more double teams/triple teams.

Trevor Booker: Always liked his game

Darrington Hobson: Just looks like an NBA player.

He doesn't look like one to me.

Re: Who is your sleeper in this draft?
If Brad Miller can have a long, productive career, then I see no reason why Omar Samhan couldn't at least make a roster and get minutes.
However, considering that one game after he hit the national radar he stunk up the arena in an embarrassing loss, then declined his PIT invite, then was not invited to the combine, he looks like he realistically won't even be drafted. I'd be intrigued at the idea of giving him a shot if the Jazz have that opportunity.
If Kevin Seraphin falls to the 2nd round, he's my choice.

Omar Samhan was one of the most over-rated players in the tournament, very over-hyped.
And what has Seraphin done to show he is going to be an NBA player?

I think Hobson will sneak into the first round. I'm going to go with a guy who could end up in the lottery and say Paul George. In the second round I like Nmenja Bjelica.

Why because he had 1 bad game?? He played a great year for St. Maries leading to some huge wins for their team. He wasn't even hyped going into the tournament as no one payed attention to him through out the year, hard to be over rated when you were never on the radar.

What has Derrick Favors done? What has Daniel Orton done?

Re: Who is your sleeper in this draft?
I think the Jazz will get a good player in the second round this year. There are a ton of seasoned college kids that are coming into the draft that should be available around when the Jazz are drafting that should make the team next season.

I hate Daniel Orton and Derrick Favors was killer when Gani Lawal wasn't hogging the ball.
Omar Samhan got more talk during the tournament than anyone else outside of Hayword, Wall and Turner.

I actually think that Gani Lawal is going to turnout to be a good pro.
If Larry Sanders falls into the 2nd round that will be the steal of the draft.

I like this guy too. I might be willing to trade 9 pick to memphis for 12 and 25 picks then take Parahouski with 25 pick. Henry my be a good pick at 12.qman wrote:Artsiom Parahouski is opening a lot of eyes with his shooting ability too. I doubt he is going to drop to Jazz's 2nd round pick.

I forgot about De'Sean Butler as well since it looks like he will slip into the second round after his injury.

Chief Kickingstallionisms would have been a better choice than Suton last year.
