Randy Rigby hints at Boozer...

Randy Rigby was on 1320 KFAN and hinted at something I thought was very interesting, and maybe I am reading to far into it. Mr. Rigby stated that this offseason right after locker room clean out, he invited CARLOS BOOZER and Deron Williams to see the new jerseys for next season and asked Carlos and Deron to be thinking of things they would like to incorporate into the introductions or different things that go on during the games that they would like to see the Jazz use for future games.

This was my thinking and not the radio hosts, but did he just give away something indirectly without actually coming out bluntly and spelling it out for us, that the Utah Jazz have already worked something out with Carlos Boozer contractually for the future, to want to hear Boozer's input on future dealings with the franchise.

Which this makes me ultra excited because then the FO is actually trying to build a championship team around Deron and Carlos, and really are willing to spend some extra money in doing so, because honestly Boozer is the biggest free agent we can sign this offseason and that will keep us competitive.

ps. I will try to find a link when it come up to Randy Rigby's interview.

You are reading way too much into that!!!! Boozer has already been talking about joining the Bulls and Heat with the Jazz as an after thought. He will sign with the Jazz for a max contract but the jazz would be stupid to give it to him because he is a non-defender unable to score on tall defenders. I glad he is gone but wish he was gone at the trading deadline so we could have gotten something for him.

I wonder if you polled the team/players on the Jazz if they want him back, and I am pretty sure Milsap and DWILL vote NO along with the majority of the players.

Good bye loser!! It is just too bad Sloan and KOC were too stupid to not trade you away with the over-rated NYK pick at the trading dedline for a superstar!!!

Toledo! If you're gonna spout so much bullsh#t PLEEEEEEASE back it up with something! What "superstar' were the Jazz offered for Booz and the NYK pick? Please tell us. And I haven't heard Booz say a damn thing about going to Miami or Chicago, so put a quote or a link or something in here if you're gonna run your mouth.

sixers would have traded iggouldala to the Jazz for example!!!

Links to Boozer leaving (get ur head out of the sand ...he is GONE!!!!) unless the Jazz pay him the max and the jazz are not going to do that when they already have Millsap.

just one example!!!

If you are going to run your mouth, no stop nothing worth hearing because you are a moron...so say nothing!!!

He played well last year but he is gone for nothing so the Jazz should have traded him last year for something...it is as simple as that!!

Boozer is a much more valuable player than Igoudala, especially to the Jazz.

I can't speak to the worth of iggouldala. I haven't seen him play.

And where in your quote does Boozer start "talking about joining the Bulls and Heat"? Boozer doesn't say anything about joining the heat, not a single word. I'm not a Boozer supporter at all, but it gets real tiresome listening to people flap their gums without any substance to back it up.

And Andre Iguodala is your SUPERSTAR?! Above the line player... sure. Superstar?! Not hardly! You realize Iggy's contract is nearly 70 million over 6 years right?!

If I'm the moron Toledo, once again, please back up your statement with something of substance. What makes me a "moron" Toledo? Please... back it up.

And I quote:
HolyToledo wrote:If you are going to run your mouth, no stop nothing worth hearing because you are a moron...so say nothing!!!

If you are going to make the claim that someone else is a moron, you should avoid sounding like one in the process... no stop nothing worth saying. Ya know, something that really helped me with my grammar was the 5th grade. You should try it sometime.

Boozer's best value to the Jazz next year will be the poor defense he plays for the Heat when Millsap tears him up next year. Boozer can only be on a championship team when they have a center that covers for his extremely bad Defense. Igoudala would have been a nice starting wing player for the Jazz next year allowing AK-47 to back up both forward positions. Instead, they have nothing now for Boozer.

The Jazz management made a mistake last year. They had to either go for it because they had Boozer for this final year but they made no trades to try and win it all or they had to cut bait and get something for him. Instead, they traded away young talent (Maynor/Brewer) and kept Boozer without adding someone like Camby. The Jazz management simply wanted to appease fans by looking like they cared about winning but still tried to save money. Now it is time to pay for that decision!!!

Iggy is far from a superstar. He has his moments, but he is just as bad on defense as Boozer. Boozer has a better offensive game for the Jazz as well. He is by far the best we can do this off-season. The only other option is clearing as much cap space as possible and go after a 2011 free agent, considering how far we are over the salary cap.

I've never heard anything but good things about Igoudala's defense. He's a damn good player I don't get the hate he's getting.

If you really wanna know where he's goin, take a spin on the Free Agent Slot Machine on ESPN'S web page................Yank the handle enough times and you'll get anything you want. It's equally as good as all your collective guesswork.

OP: Dont read into it so much. At the time of that conversation, Boozer was and still is a Jazzman. Until July 1 when he signs elsewhere....

Jazz just being professional, as usual.

I'm thinking that keeping Boozer and Drafting Aldrich is not such a bad idea.
Go watch the butt load of video out there of Aldrich. The guy has a motor, and size.
I think that if Aldrich was black all the ultra sensitive Jazz fanz would be clamoring for him.

AK will also resign at a smaller deal, the cap will increase and all will be swell in SLC.

Toledo is famous for saying RealGM trade checker trades like this Iguodala trade were real trades that the Jazz are idiots for turning down. But there is no evidence of any kind that this was EVER actually offered to the Jazz for Carlos Boozer.

Aside from dumping salary, there is no reason why the Sixers would trade Iguodala for Boozer when they already have an undersized, overpaid PF in Elton Brand.
