First off I'm assuming the Jazz bring back Boozer and are making a serious run for the title. Ray Allen for Millsap is the base of all the trades. Ray would represent an upgrade to your starting line-up and possibly make the Jazz a serious title threat. Glen Davis would provide a cheap backup for Boozer at pf. These trades would also help the Jazz distribute payroll over the 5 positions a little more evenly. Interest in any of these? BTW don't say no to one just b/c you favor another one of the trades more.
Ray Allen for Millsap (straight up)
Ray / Glen Davis for Millsap / CJ Miles
Ray / Glen Davis for Millsap / Wes Matthews
Ray / Glen Davis for Millsap / Korver (re-signed)

I don't like any of those trades.

if we did sign boozer...draft a PF to replace Milsap.. I'm *kinda* in favor of the trade. This way we keep boozer and a vet who can shoot and help us forget about derek fisher..trying to imagine ray allen/AK/Boozer/Deron/Okur lineup running around on the court..holy ****...that's an upgrade..
Problem is Ray Allen I think is a free agent right? So you're thinking *sign and trade* or is he a RFA?
Also we are getting a steal with Milsap and his contract..we paid the heavy price for his contract last season so finally we are getting the reward for it..would kinda suck to throw that away. I guess it depends on the term of the contract Ray Allen is signed too..(I thought he said publicly he wants to stay in boston?)
Anyway..I like that trade..the others..not so much. Depends on the contract, Ray Allen has a lot of miles on him, and milsap does not (plus milsap is a rebounding monster..which is why Sloan uses him with Boozer all the time).
*ray allen would have to take a serious pay cut from the ~$20 Million he was making...plus Milsap contract is gold for what he does... so...ehhhhhhh... I...yeah probably won't happen..if I knew we were losing boozer or milsap for sure this would be a great move and help both teams.

Why would we move Milsap for an ancient Ray Allen? makes no sense to me.

Your assumption is wrong!! The Jazz are not making a run for the championship!!! If the Jazz were doing so, then they would have done it last year when Boozer was already under contract and everyone was healthy at the trade deadline. The Jazz, like many sports teams, are more concerned about money than winning championships!!

Those trades are awful. Ray Allen honestly isn't that helpful for us. We could use perkins. I'll give you Boozer and a future #1 for perkins and tony allen.

Who starts on the wing again for you guys? Seriously saying things like Ray wouldn't help you is a little ridiculous. The Jazz have zero scoring from the wing. While Ray isn't the player he once was he is still a 15 ppg scorer and legit 3rd option.
Also Boozer makes no sense for us with KG and Davis already under contract (and I don't think Perkins makes sense in Sloan's offensive system). But if you will give up Boozer for relatively cheap (Perkins + 19th overall + ?) you bet the Celtics would be interested in a 3 way trade.

Any trades that dont involve us getting a center are not worth doing. Why trade Millsap for Glen Davis, who is a fatter, softer version of Millsap?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Korver is a better shooter then Ray and we could sign him back for less then Ray is making. Why tie up our cap space on a has been that is decreasing in everything? No thanks

Please, no more Boozer..... The Jazz need to cut ties with him.
