Celtics want to get rid of Perkins...

I think Utah should try and get him one way or another. Living in RI, I get to see a lot of Boston games and I think he's what we need. He can throw you around, block shots, change your mindset and he's not that bad of an offensive player. Any thoughts?

I am sure that the Jazz would like a player like Perkins but why does Boston want to get rid of him?

Didn't Perkins have a really bad injury in game 5 or 6? I wouldn't touch him without knowing just how bad it was.

So the Jazz should trade for a guy with a torn MCL? Perkins has no trade value, zero.

Meh, 10/7 big man who really only started to be a big deal when he was playing next to Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo and the DPOY Kevin Garnett, and now he's coming off of a torn MCL...

Pass.

Perkins is exactly what the Jazz need. He can mess up lakers bigs, thats invaluable even if he isn't that great at scoring. I might not trade the #9, but I would like perkins starting at the 5 for us next year. Exactly what this team needs. We can afford having a 5 who isn't great on O, perkins is perhaps the best, or at least top 5 post defender in the league.

I'm willing to bet he makes a full recovery.

Exactly Bama. If we keep this same team, we'll never get past the Lakers with their current bigs. Perkins wouldn't let Gasol or Bynum push him around. He'll be fine by next season too.
