I would cease to be a Jazz fan if we acquired Carmelo Anthony. He is the antithesis of everything respectable about this organization.

If the Nuggets trade Carmelo, it is because he won't agree to an extention--and they will be looking for another star in return.
1. There is no way Denver trades a star to Utah
2. I don't see Carmelo agreeing to an extention in Utah
3. I don't see us giving up a star to get him (Deron)

He sure doesnt look like an NBA player BUT I am telling you he has the skills that he will be at least a stater for the Jazz within 3 years and a possible NBA Allstar if he works hard at his game. He is a hard worker so I think KOC finally got it right. And I am not a KOC fan!!!

What I am about to say goes against everything I stand for... but... but.... Well, I agree with Toledo...

sorry I can't stand Melo.. he doesn't deserve to wear a Jazz uniform. Let him get his next DUI in NYC.

Melo is a moron of a person, and a ball-hog of a basketball player. He chucks his teams out of games. No to Melo.

There's no way the two teams can deal together. Both teams are in the same boat of wanting to get better now.

I think Melo would do well on the Jazz; but I don't see any way it happens.

While as rival fans we exaggerate his character flaws, the reason he won't be traded from Denver to Utah has everything to do with GMing and nothing to do with personalities. I'd welcome him with open arms.

Love to have Melo. No chance in hell this happens.

I'm one of the biggest melo haters out there. He does have some skillz though. No idea why the Jazz would want to rent him for one year though. Unless it's a deal of Okur and Miles I don't see any reason to bring him in.
And Denver would die laughing at that offer.

Honestly the Jazz should throw the max at him next off season with all of the cap space we should have. I would become an actual member of the Melo's people of Utah.

Anybody think that Deron could convince Melo to actually come to Utah if he does go on the market next summer?
I'm not sure if he wants to win that badly. But Deron, Matthews, Melo, and Millsap would be a hell of a core.

Wasn't there a post-game press conference from the Playoffs where someone asked Melo what it would be like playing in Utah's offense? I don't remember the exact quote but I thought he said something to the effect of "I'd get a lot of good looks."

And 1. His skill set is perfect for Sloan's system. You know he had to notice what a difference playing in a system makes during this year's playoff series.
