Carlos Boozer Appreciation Thread

This is an appreciation thread. If you want to talk crap make your own topic, but there's already enough of that. Any crap talk will be reported since I'm laying down the law.

******************************************************************************************

I'm happy to see that his last season here was his best. Mostly injury free, played the best defense of his career, and had a couple of memorable throw downs and that awesome buzzer beater in Portland. Boozer led us to our only game 7 win on the road, and one of the best moments in franchise history (and my life for that matter), and to the WCF. No Jazz player has ever taken more crap than Boozer has, and undeservingly so. The dude definitely plays with heart, is well spoken, and stays out of trouble.

I wish Boozer the best of luck in Chicago. He's going to rape Millsap two times per season.

I don't think that there are going to be a ton of posts in here.

Best of luck in Chicago. I hope he does well. If he plays hard and stays healthy, good things will happen. The East just got pretty stacked.

He was my favorite player in 07. He will do well in Chicago next to Noah.

Boozer is a 20 pt 10 rb PF who was a two time all star. It is hard to replace that production. He was valuable even though he missed more games than I would have liked. He made us a better team.

Boozer is the best Free agent to ever choose to go to Utah. He will probably go down as the best black athlete to choose Utah that wasnt drafted or traded to Utah.

Malone Stock was drafted
Horny was traded for.

Boozer was dominate in the paint, we are going to miss him alot.

With Boozer the Jazz won four playoff series. Without him they would have won zero.

I'll miss his yelling, that crazy high-arching jumper and his wicked left-handed finishing moves.

Good player. Great rebounder. Terrific hands. Was actually average at defense last year. Stayed out of trouble and was a pretty good interview and leader last season.

He will be missed.

Boozer is dead, long live Millsap!!!

Good luck to boozer, I hope he stays healthy in Chi. Jazz fans have been spoiled with good pf through the years, I do think Boozer was demonized unfairly, because he wasn't as amazing as Malone (who is?). He gets to play with a good pg in rose and next to noah, so Chi looks pretty strong. I am also looking forward to seeing Boozer and Millsap go head to head.

PF's are stacked now in the East with Booz and Amare making their way over there.

I hope Boozer does well, this last year he did a great job at keeping his mouth shut.

I was a pretty harsh critic of Booz at times, but he's a great player and was part of the team's heart and soul for a few fun years. Don't begrudge him his decision at all.

Good luck, goodbye, Bobby Jean.

Boozer will be missed and had some monster games that were fun to watch. Best of luck to you in Chicago (except when you play the Jazz). Hopefully the injury bug leaves you alone.

He is an extremely smart business man!!! He found his way to Utah with a big contract after the Cavs tried get around the salary cap. He has now signed with a good Bulls team for even more money despite years of injuries.

He played little defense in Utah mostly likely because of his inability to do so, but got the most out of his offensive game. He would be best paired up with a center that a good defender which he now has in Chicago and never had in Utah.

I give him credit in that if the Jazz wanted to match the Bulls offer, he would have supposedly stayed in Utah. You have to give him alot of credit for loyalty!!! He was loyal to the Jazz and respects Sloan. The Jazz made the only decision they could have made except trading him away at the trading deadline last year which was clearly necessary.

I wish Boozer and his family well. He was part of some really good moments of Jazz basketball, and I think we are now set to get some good perspective on him as a player. He's going to a young promising team with pieces that will be a very good fit for his game.
Can't wait to seee him playing against the Jazz (and I hope fans won't be harsh on him).
