Any 2011 Free Agent PF's or C's we could target?

This is a league of money. If we can offer good money, we can get free agents here. That being said, we have AK's albatross max contract coming off the books next year. How much money will we be able to have available to make a run at free agents? And what free agent bigs are available for us to target?
I would think a rising player who sees what DWill did for Boozer would salivate at the chance to get rich playing next to Deron Williams for a team that wins....

I think we will target Perkins and/or Hayes in 2011.

I've always thought Perkins would do well on the Jazz. He'd bring that toughness and attitude that's been lacking. I have to admit that the thought of a Millsap-Hayes front court made me chuckle.

Nene or Marc Gasol would add the needed beef upfront for the Jazz to compete against the best. Gasol might be a better fit since he is European, and wouldn't be bothered that we are in Utah. Nene might not mind, but he's more Americanized by now I believe

Go get horford, the cheap hawks owners won't want too many big contracts besides JJs.

Nene, no thanks. Horford....now we're talking. Marc Gasol would be great, but he will be very expensive IMO. Good pedigree, and he's starting to come into his own as a player.
Hayes? No.

Horford or Gasol would be exactly what the jazz need. It would be shocking if we actually can get either player though.

I am high on Gasol and Horford too. Thought maybe, we can throw them a front loaded contract next summer since they probably will be into luxury tax territory with the Johnson and Gay contracts. BUT, Randolph is expiring next season, so is Crawford for the Hawks.
I hope MEM extends or re-signs Z Bo. SO we could at least get a chance to take Gasol.

Actually, you'd better hope Thabeet turns into Hakeem pretty quick. That's the only way I see the Grizzlies letting Gasol go.
