It would be sure nice

to hear that the Jazz are actively pursuing Manhinmi and Haslem, as it looks like the Mavs are. However I am not convinced that just because we don't read it anywhere online, that pursuit isn't happening. Sure would be nice to hear the Jazz out on the prowl, though.

We hardly ever hear rumors about Jazz moves that happen. So the lack of news and rumors doesn't really scare me.

I really don't care about rumors. Other than the fact that the speculation is fun during the dead of summer. It is the end result that matters, IMO.

The Mavs are one of those teams in the league it would suck to get in a bidding war with. I hope they don't want Haslem that bad.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

We seem to never find out the guys we are going after until after the fact (Childress for one).

I have heard that the Jazz are players for Haslem's services probably as a center until Memo comes back than a back up big thereafter. He would be a decent signing.

Yeah... the Jazz/Haslem reports surfaced last week. Step away from the ledge people.

"Just heard from Udonis Haslem. He has turned down far larger deals from the Nuggets and Mavericks . . . and will be back with the Heat!"

Too bad, but not a huge shocker. Probably should've traded Boozer for him last year when we had the chance.

Why? He would have still come back to Miami if that was what he wanted.

Maybe they didn't go after him because they knew he wanted to go back to Miami? Sounds like that is what he wanted the entire time. Too bad Matthews isn't the kind of guy who would turn down big offers to stay with the right team...uh huh...

Utah is the place to go to make a name for yourself, then sign somewhere else. Don't y'all worry, Sloan's Dark Wizardry will get more undrafted players their $8 mil per year soon enough. The FA factory of the West grinds on...
