Hey guys. I am a long time reader of the boards (5+ Years). It seems now they will accept gmail accounts to sign up so I decided to join.
A little about me: I am a huge Jazz fan, born and raised in Salt Lake City, now residing in St. George. I was the admin over at NBAwire up until a couple of months ago when our owner decided to cease operations of the forums. I am also a huge Utes fan and should be transferring up to the U of U next year!
Anyways I look forward to posting here.

Welcome to the board. You sound like a nice guy (except for the Ute part). It used to be that we would ask every new poster where they stood on the Jerry Sloan front, but he's been remarkably competent recently, so I guess you'll have to find your own controversial topic to start upon.

Well played.
To the OP: welcome! Current litmus tests:
Matthews: match or not?
Jefferson: upgrade from Boozer or lateral move?
Jazz organization: really interested in winning a title or just making the playoffs and remaining viable?
Hayward: bust or solid pick?
Did I miss any?

Matthews: I say no, he is a great player but it is clear what Portland is trying to do and I think we should call their bluff. Have them pay 34 Million over 5 Years for a backup. I would much rather sign Brewer on the cheap.
Jefferson: I think that he has the ability to be an upgrade if that makes any sense. He has shown flashes of a 25 and 12 player, I really think it depends on his health and how he fits into our system. I like the move but it is a high-risk, high-reward move IMO.
Jazz organization: I think they are interested in winning a title, but have found themselves in a tough position. Plus, building a title winning team is a lot easier said then done IMO.
Hayward: He won't be a bust. He was a solid pick, he just didn't really fit a need for the Jazz. However, considering where we were drafting I can't really blame KOC for making this move.

Ever. It shows both humor, and common sense, which are missing in all of his 2101 other posts.

Welcome board TheNotoriousIAN.
Yeah, both humor and common sense, but you wouldnt have to disagree with him, just have fun with his trade proposals, they are all cool (and undoable) Not sure If undoable is a word, but you get my point.

Regards,
