"Korver Trying To Recruit Brewer For Bulls

Kyle Korver, who was introduced as the newest addition in Chicago on Tuesday, is trying to recruit Ronnie Brewer to join him.

Korver was lured to the Bulls by former Jazz teammate Carlos Boozer.

"[Boozer] reached out to me and we talked about it for sure," Korver said. "And I was texting Ronnie Brewer earlier, so we're trying to start the Chicago Jazz here. I don't know if you knew that."

If the Magic match the offer sheet J.J. Redick signed with the Bulls, Chicago is expected to go after Brewer."

It would be cool to have Brew back, but I'll be happy for him if he ends up in Chicago too. I really like Korver, Boozer, and Brewer (as players and as people), and I'm impressed by the professionalism and good sense of Chicago's management, so I'll be rooting for them in the East this year.

Honestly I don't want Brewer back. He's a great kid, but I'd rather give his minutes to Hayward. I'd really like to see us sign a guy like Brown or Mason who can play some point and shoot from the outside.

I totally agree and I'd say in that order. Brown, Mason then Brewer.
I think brown would be a nice add, not a super shooter, but would be an ideal backup for D-Will.
And since Jerry likes to play two point guards at times, I think he would be a nice fit.

Its nice to see that the Jazz players from the past few years got along and still want to play together even if not on the Jazz. Im a Sloan detractor but Im starting to like him a little again because he has changed somewhat and becoming a players coach but with structure.

Roger Mason is going to be great here.

This goes to show how close this team has been over the last two to three years. I will root for chicago if the get Brewer to come out of the East! I think we need shannon brown to keep our athletic push going!

That Boozer screwed Korver's girlfriend. Some on here will defend that rumor to their deaths. I am having serious doubts.
