The Utah Jazz should add Roger Mason Jr so that they can spread the floor and have a clutch 3 point shooter.

The addition of Kurt Thomas would be a great help because he is a guy that can rebound, box out and defend players, he is also a veteran leader that can bring defense and leadership to the Jazz.

Bringing Louis Amundson to the Jazz would bring a defensive presence on the floor that can rebound, block shots, he is very versatile and is a great finisher around the rim.

Raja bell would be great because he is just like a veteran version of Wesley Matthews that is a better defender, that has experience and he is a great shooter. The Jazz need three point shooters and they need a man that can defend the likes of Kobe Bryant, Lebron James and Dwayne Wade.

Having Tracy Mcgrady on the Jazz roster would bring a prolific scorer and a man that can pass, rebound and defend. But the fact that T-Mac is injury prone can be a risk.

Nate Robinson is a quick guard that can create his own shots, he can score at will, he can pass the ball and he would be a great backup to superstar Deron Williams

Shaq is a big presence that can defend bigs like Dwight Howard, Brendan Haywood and Andrew Bynum, he can occupy space and contain the middle opening space for other guys such as: Deron Williams.

Jason Williams is a champion point guard with tons of experience that can play great man-man defense, he moves the ball around well and he has a high basketball I.Q.

Shannon Brown brings playoff experience and finals experience, he is a two time champ that has played with the nba's best (Kobe Bryant). He is athletic and he brings the element of explosiveness, the Utah jazz lack this feat. Shannon is a good shooter as well and he plays solid perimeter defense.

Ronnie Brewer has active hands, he is great at stealing the ball and he gets to the rim with ease. He can handle pressure down the stretch and is a polished NBA player with an all-around game. He is a great finisher in transition.

Matt Barnes is savvy NBA player that is capable of hitting big shots down the stretch, he plays wonderful defense and is a nightmare for guys like Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony. He can shoot the ball well and he is a great rebounder, he is alright court vision and can make nice passes.

Eddie House is a great player that has incredible basketball I.Q., he also has veteran leadership that can help win an NBA championship, he is a great shooter and he makes the extra pass that can lead to a bucket.

Nice breakdown. I especially would be interested in adding another big for cheap like Admundson to give us some depth and insurance for injuries. Also, we still are weak defensively in the paint.

I like everyone one that list except Shaq and Jason williams.

No thanks to McGrady...didn't care for his attitude in Houston last year one bit, and neither did Houston.

Definite no thanks on Nate Robinson...fortunately Sloan would hate him so that's not happening anyway.

Jason Williams was a pretty big disappointment in Orlando; if we can get him for the vet minimum, then maybe. If he wants more than that, no.

I like all the rest of your choices, especially Mason and Kurt Thomas. I've always been a big fan of both players and I think they fit what we want very well.

Mods could we request that this be stickied until the Jazz find their guy? There are too many threads and pieces of threads dealing with this and I can't remember what posts went where. If not that's ok but we could use a FA watch thread.

So, now rumors surface that the Jazz are after Brown and Mason. I think we know KOC too well

Shannon is rumored to be looking for 2.5 so i think it could be possibly to bring in both for the MLE. Or depending on what the value of the bi annual is we could maybe sign brown for that then give roger more. Im not sure on either of these guys value. I dont think anyone knows anyones value this summer.

This is a real good breakdown of players that could help the jazz. I would love to add Brown or Bell for 2.5 million then add Kurt Thomas for 2 million then sign House for 1.2 million. The jazz might be about 3 or 5 million over luxury tax but would have a overall better roster then last year.

Perhaps not now that we got Raja Bell back. KOC was reading on here and thinking i'll show them bam RAJA. Who says free agents don't want to come to Utah?
