There are a couple pretty good crossovers in the video on that thread, but no dunks. I don't think he dunked his whole career, not sure if he could. Either way, he was the most Sloan player ever made.

He did dunk once. I remember watching it. It was towards the end of his career. I believe someone once asked him if he ever dunked in a game and he said he never had. Then they replayed the footage of that dunk to him, he chuckled and said someone owed him some money. Sounds like he was a part of one of the bets that Malone used to make. I may be inaccurate on the exactness so far, but he definitely dunked at least once.

Stock was athletic enough to do it, but I can't remember seeing it. I do, however, remember seeing Hornacek dunk when he was with the Suns (courtesy of a Classics game on NBA TV). That blew my mind a little bit.

I remember LHM relating a story about this on the radio. They were joking with him about him not being able to dunk. Gamenight came, and he got one, and smiled at Larry. I'm not sure which was more rare, the dunk or the smile.

I don't really remember him dribbling between his legs ever. Anyone seen that?

I recall him doing it fairly frequently when he would dribble to the angle (strictly as a way to put the ball on the other side of him, out of the defender's reach). But, yeah, I don't think he did it too often with respect to "making a move."

In the process of googling (in vain) to find a reference to the specific game where he may have dunked (I SWEAR I saw it) I came across this quote that is vintage Stockton, on why he never changed the style of his shorts:

To be honest, for the first 15 years, I didn’t know we had a say in it. I figured shorts are shorts, I’ve never had a say in what size the shorts were since I was a little kid. I was lucky I wasn’t wearing my brother’s most of the time, it’s just what you have. It came to a surprise when people were making fun of me, ‘I can change them?’ And I didn’t want to at that point, they were comfortable. Styles are going to come and go. I think it’s easier to stay with what you’re comfortable with.

I just can't fathom an NBA player in today's age of entitlement thinking they didn't have a say in something like that.

A friend of mine met Stockton in the gym once and asked him to dunk. He said it took him a couple of tries, but he did it. This was later in his career, but I'm sure as a younger player he could have done it much more easily.

Can you imagine what the draft gurus would say about Stockton coming out today? I'm pretty sure he wouldn't even be included on the draft night program. It goes to show how much competitiveness and willpower are just as important as "athleticism" and "upside."

Couldn't find any Old School Hornacek (Suns days), but here is Hornacek doing a reverse dunk in a Jazz uniform (skip to about 1:35) --

So funny that out of anybody that has ever played in the NBA, Stock and Horny are the two that look most like two guys that would knock on your door with ties and nametags, and they ended up in Utah. Add Harpring and our newest draftee to the mix, and you've got yourself a district meeting. I love it.

I remember the first time I played an NBA video game. It was Lakers vs. Celtics on the Sega Genesis I believe and I remember it had the coolest music I had ever heard and Stockton could dunk it. But I never saw him do it in a real game, and I would estimate Ive seen about 90% all Jazz games from 1994 on.

As for the dribbling between the legs....well, nobody did it better. Stockton was the master of ball control, and the between the legs dribble is a ball control move....before it became a showboat move. But Stockton did it frequently.

pfft, what a crock of ****. Small schools get more and more coverage as time progresses, and Stock averaged 21 and 7 on 58% shooting his last year with the Zags. He woulda been talked about loads.
