http://www.nba.com/jazz/features/2010utahjazz_fanfest.html"public fan fest" monday night. jersey unveiling. autographs and new merchandise as well as ticket sales for the upcoming season. not to mention food vendors.
hadn't seen a thread specifically for this. might have something there worth discussing going on. i'll probably go because my chances of actually going to a game this upcoming season are pretty slim.

I will be there. I will be loud and obnoxious, I want to make an impression early so I come to mind when it's Rowdy pickin' time.

was a little disappointed tonight. i thought it was going to be inside and open up a couple portals and concessions. with a stage and seats, they would have needed a bigger staff, but they would have made more money with the merchandise being easier to shop. this thing seemed really disorganized. i would have guessed more than a few hundred people showed up. maybe 1000+? enough to justify sitting on one of the sides of the lower bowl behind the backboard or something. the new banner was funny too. we had 3 or 4 countdowns before it finally dropped completely-several snags in the line.
i liked the whole fashion show thing. that was cool. the jerseys look pretty cool too. not sure how i like the stripe under the arm, but it fits the style well.

The beef kebabs tasted like dog food. Thank God for Crown Burger.

I disagree with you big time. Whenever things like this are inside its always horrible. This had a good atmosphere, and with it being outside it actually felt like there was a lot of people there. 2000 people outside feels like a lot, 2000 people in the delta center feels empty. I thought they did a good job with it.
