Man, he straight up CLOWNED Fes on that one play. He is so good with the pump fakes and has some decent handles for a man his size too.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

Re: Old Al Jefferson vs Utah Jazz video
There are two things that worry me about Al Jefferson.
1. Defense. I haven't seen much of him, except for highlights and a few games, but people say he's horrible on defense. He can block a few shots and he can't be any worse rotating than Boozer. I just hope his man to man defense isn't horrible.
2. Passing. The guy is a beast in the post. He has a great variety of moves. But can he pass the ball out of a double-team? Judging by his assist numbers and from what I've seen and heard about him, he has a long way to go. The Jazz system should benefit him, I just hope it doesn't take too long for him to get used to it.

Re: Old Al Jefferson vs Utah Jazz video
I watched Jefferson many times before he was traded to the Jazz, and not just against the Jazz.
I was always disgusted, honestly, at how many open men he passed up to force up bad shots or maneuver his way into the post against multiple players. The former issue could help explain his low mid-range jumper numbers over the last while. However when he got into the key, he usually converted.
Anyway, from watching him it seemed like the issue wasn't that he couldn't pass out of double teams or back-to-the-basket situations...it's that he honestly refused to. I don't doubt that the coaching staff, Deron and the new system will be able to bring him out of that mindset. I think he's willing.
I don't know about his defense, but one glimmer of hope: during one of his recent interviews, he hastily admitted that his defense has been an issue and that he realizes improvements need to be made.
Boozer NEVER admitted that. He lived in neglect of the fact that he was a complete black hole. I remember countless times, when the issue was addressed to him, he would brush it off and explain that his defense was "fine". And that pissed me off.
Sure, there are concerns with Jefferson. But he's 25, an animal at improving his game in the off-season, and this is a new chapter in his career. There's no reason not to be somewhat optimistic.

Give him some shooters and he will pass.
