Does it look to you like he's put on some muscle? He looks a lot bigger to me...We've said this for 3 years now but I think this is finally the year he comes into his own and becomes a solid piece of the Jazz' foundation.

eh, i never been a cj miles fan, to be honest i think he pretty much sucks most nights 8 points 6 points, doesn't move around much, isn't athletic, im deff gonna get bashed but maybe its because i dont get to watch as many games as yall utah people

Well, in my eyes Miles is definitely an athletic dude, and I hope he didn't mess it up too much putting on too many more muscle... I've never understodd why basketball fans gets so obsessed about muscle.... hey, Kevin Durant's not a muscle guy at all...

I've honestly never been that psyched about Miles but he is definitely athletic, and I don't think adding some muscle is going to hurt that. If anything what he's lacked is a killer attitude and more serious work ethic, and him working hard in the off season and gaining weight/confidence can only be a good sign IMO.

Whenever we've talked about how mentally weak the Jazz are Miles has been part of the problem. What if that could change?

I heard he was working out in the gym just prior to coming out for the uni showing, thus having his muscles look bigger than usual.

He came out and said (can't remember where) that he had put on a little muscle this offseason. Said this was the heaviest he's ever been but hasn't lost a step, so I see it as nothing but a positive.

He sounded very excited about putting on the extra muscle and improved confidence is fine with me. He was coming into his own in the playoffs, so maybe this is the year he develops that consistency. He's definitely an athlete and if he takes it even stronger to the rack than he started to toward the end of last year, then sweet.
