The Jazz really missed out not drafting this guy in the second round or signing him as a free agent instead of Elson. He is big and mobile. He has a nice jumper and rebounds and blocks well. He also has good hands and makes plays in traffic. I think he's already better than Fesenko. Being from Russia he could have bonded well in Kirilenko. I know the Jazz are high on Evans but I think they really missed the boat not going after this guy.

He wasn't draftable, he was a FA. He was draft eligible several years ago before improving, and became a FA when he was not drafted. This is a lot like Jazzy Cabbages and Andres Nocioni. I think Jose
Calderon was undrafted too.

Well, two thoughts:
- I don't know how good this guy is going to be so its hard to say if the Jazz should sign him over one of these other guys
- We don't know if the Jazz ever made a play for him. http://blogs.hoopshype.com/blogs/sierra ... 5-minutes/
Apparently other teams did but he chose New York for their "very good coach" and "how New York plays". In other words, I can shoot all I want and won't have to play defense.

Elson was a great pick up for the Jazz. I think he will fit their system well, and has good veteran experience. This other dude just sounds like he is bad at first names.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

Mosgov sounds great on paper, but I'm gonna withhold judgment until he actually plays. But if he lives up to the hype, yea we prob should have signed him... us and 28 other teams.

But I am entirely content with Jeremy Evans, I think he can be a better version of what brewer provided for us, and might turn out to be a pretty solid interior defender.
