Filming in Utah isn't exactly new.... Lot's of movies have been filmed at various locations there, especially down in southern UT

Yeah, since the state started handing out tax breaks in the 90s there has been a lot more than just westerns in the South being done here. It's been a low cost center for filming for a while, and actually was bigger before Vancouver and Massachusetts started doing the tax breaks too.

Utah is a nice location because you can go from high mountains and snow down to hot desert within a couple short hours. There is also a good sized city here too.
Doctor Who is exciting. I am just mad that my HOA took away the BBC America channel.

Ya Utah is one of the biggest filming markets in the United States. Tons of things get filmed here.
