Around the NBA

So the Bulls continue to help us out and beat Western Conference opponents at home by killing the Warriors tonight. They also beat Portland and Denver. Korver and Brewer are still helping us.

And the Heat lose again. Most people I know this summer kept saying that Miami would win it all and be unstoppable but I stuck to my guns and said that they would not get past Boston. Haha.

Remains to be seen if Miami gets their **** together, but there's two huge problems developing. Their PG play is surreal in how bad it is, and they have absolutely no interior whatsoever. Chris Bosh and max contract should never, ever, ever have appeared in the same conversation.

I love that the Heat are getting beat. The fairweather fans of south beach deserve it a LOT...

If the Lakers get to the Finals, I'll be cheering for anyone from the East to beat them.

Honestly, I am not surprised the Heat are struggling, but I think they will get it together before the end of the season and will be dangerous. Right now they are missing their best bench player, and I suspect they'll add Dampier still to sure up their front line.

It takes a while to learn how to play together, and remember that team only has like 3 returning players from last year. You see how we have struggled with 6, they have 10+. Once they get it, they will be disgusting. I also expect Riley to be coaching this team before Christmas, and he is far superior to Spoelstra.

The Heat would be so much better with a guy like Noah in place of Bosh. I don't think Bosh adds much of anything to that team that Udonis Haslem doesn't already bring.

Miami might actually struggle in the first round if they meet a team like the Bucks or Bulls. Both teams have good PG's and PF/C's that likes the bang inside.

Bosh is one of the most over-rated players in the league. He is soft and a poor passer. They would actaully be better with a more physical post up player (I hate Boozer with a passion) but he would have helped them much more than Bosh.

Denver beat the Lakers tonight but the Nuggets will get 4th place in out division. Carmelo says after beating the world champions "I am happy for now". They have internal issues as well as some very dumb players. They will be an 8th playoff seed or miss the playoffs especially if Melo is traded away.

He said he's happy now, not "for now". Big difference.

I think the same thing! When the Bulls get Healthy or get Melo they could beat the Heat before they get to Boston. The Bulls could come together late but i still think they could win the East!

It doesn't even matter what Melo wants. His wife wants the spotlight. Melo is leaving. I don't know how she's famous and I don't care, but anyone who has a reality show on Vh1 and isn't worth a damn is an attention whore.

Thought Millsap's 46 was crazy....

Kevin Love has 31 points and 31 rebounds against the Knicks, with about half a minute left in the game. He also added 5 dimes.

:o

After tonight, I'm not so sure Sap will get player of the week, which is pretty incredible if so... still have tomorrow.

As much as I would love to agree with you, and as much as I loved what Paul did to the Heat, I think it would be a travesty if it wasn't given to Love. Not only did he have his 30/30, he also had a 20/20 earlier this week, and is nearly averaging a 20/20 for the week. That is just incredible..... :o

WOW we got a lot of help tonight, lots of western teams lost to bad teams. Minny might blow it against the Spurs again.
