Ok, I'm a little bored waiting for football games to record, so to cure my doldrums I put this poll out there.

Who is the biggest surprise? Tough call there are so many guys who have picked their games up, and a couple who haven't met expectations....

I'm going to have to go with Fes. The guy has finally realized that he has some skill and can make it in this league if he puts some effort into it. I could have been wrong about the FO not offering him a nice contract, as it seems to have lit a fire under his ass.

It's pretty hard to choose. Deron has been having great games without having any of the really good shooting nights I'm used to see from him. I've always been on the Kirilenko, Millsap, and Fesenko bandwagons. Waiting to see when they'd have the kind of impact they're having not if they're going to have that impact. **** it. Millsap blew my mind with those threes in Miami. I've never seen anything like it.

Also, these nicknames rule.

Am I the only one actually dissapointed more in player's performances than proud? We should be somewhere between 5-5 and 7-3, so it's nice to see us at 7-3, but the slow starts, especially from our starters, and our bench not performing that great outside our runs, it's pretty frustrating.

As a collective whole, I'm proud that they have been able to come together on the road and sweep the rug on our opponents. Hopefully this instills confidence on our team on the road. If we perform well on the road, I have no doubt we can finish in the top 2 in the West and maybe top 3-4 in the whole NBA.

I thought Hayward was going to have some sort of positive impact on this team, and he's been a total non-factor, which surprises me. I want to think that we didn't just whiff on a #10 overall pick, but Gordo has bust written all over him right now.

Other than that, this team's ability to win close games on the road, almost in spite of themselves has been an awesome surprise. Millsap's ability to carry the offense has been a wonderful surprise. Bell's total inability to hit a jumpshot has been a less-than-stellar surprise. Sloan's newly learned ability to make in-game adjustments is not a surprise, its a total shock. Kirilenko's return to form (in a contract year) is a mild surprise.

All-in-all, this team isn't what I expected, and I think we may have raised our expectations a little to highly given the fact that the Jazz are winning but just barely. Its been one heck of a ride this far, though.

Millsap's Miami performance was shocking but overall he's been playing like what I've expected from him.

Biggest surprised for me has been Kirilenko's clutch shooting. He's been so timely and efficient. Plus, he's been great with the second unit. Seems like he's having a comeback season.

I think that's ridiculous. He played great to start the season, and hasn't played much recently. We're ten games into a 19 year-old kid's rookie season and he's already a bust?

I actually think Francisco Elson has been huge for this team. He can come in and play either the C or the PF position for 7-10 minutes and give either Al or Millsap a rest. Team him up next to Fesenko and the Jazz are massive down low and teams avoid taking it to the hole.

But seriously he's played much better than I expected, he doesn't try to do to much.

It seems he is embracing his role and perfecting it. He knows he's not going to be a 1-3 scoring threat on this team, but knows he can make the clutch shot that will win us some games. His passing is incredible (that pass down to Al late in the game last night was spectacular!), and he has re-focused his defensive role to keep himself effective as he is growing older and feeling limited from his injuries. I am glad that he isn't jumping all over the place anymore, mainly because I think it will help to keep him healthy through the whole season. Let big Al and Sap get those blocks now.

I genuinely hope its just a little slump, but when Raja Bell is playing HORRIBLY and you cant even sniff the court, thats not a good sign.

He's not in a slump. He's played 6, 4, and 4 minutes over the last three games. He's 1-2, 0-1, and 0-1 from the field. And he's played good defense while he's been out there. Raja hasn't been playing horribly either. He's not banging threes all over the court, but he's not hurting us at all. He, too, is playing solid defense.

I just can't understand this line of thought.

I voted Fes as he seems to actually come ready to play. He doesn't look lost on the court. Also, AK's shot has great rotation and looks good; I don't yell at him when he shoots it anymore.... more at CJ now

even CJ's shots are looking better though, sometimes he is way off though. I don't understand how an NBA player can be so far off at times. LET IT RAIN!!!
