Gotta say it...Harpring in headsets FML

As a player, I loved Matty's hustle and toughness. Our team lacks that now.
As a broadcaster...I can hardly listen to the games Harpring covers. He seems like one of those kids in high school I would have hated. He makes stupid comments throughout, seems unable to establish rapport with Bolerjack, engages in awkward exchanges that I believe are failed attempts at humor, and is unprofessional in how he talks about the opposition. Now I am no Raptors or Nets fan...but I'm sure fans of those teams watch the games DirecTV broadcasts which Harpring calls. He needs to say those teams are terrible teams without saying "they are terrible teams." He doesnt sugarcoat it at all...and it leaves Bolerjack scrambling to save face on the air!
Sorry, not a fan of Harpring in the headsets. Bring back the Booner, or at least, see if we can get someone else....

Boler has diarrhea of the mouth, can't understand why people like him.

These are all positive in my opinion. I really like bolerjack when he does football, great insight, he is obviously in his comfort zone. In basketball, I really dislike the guy, he still doesn't sound right (getting better though). Harpring gives an insight from a players perspective, he can give relevant thoughts on teams, players, because he just played against/with these guys last year. I think he's doing a good job, I like his honesty. He talks more than Booner and thus Boler talks less, which is a good thing.

Really? He is my favorite Jazz TV analyst by far.... I hate everyone else. He is the only one who actually knows anything about basketball.

This.
Although on occasion I can tolerate Thurl.

I think Matt is horrible, but I mean it really is his first 12 games as a broadcaster, so just like Al in our system, let's give him a little more time.
The fact he is a former player and has inside info, etc., is all great to have, but my God does he suck at spitting all his player-perspective out. So flippin' awkward.
Personally, as a fan wanting to hear good commentary - it sucks.
But as a fan wanting to hear comedy - it's great. Just look at it as a 2-hour straight-to-dvd version of The Office meets Eddie.

It sounds like people who actually play basketball competitively enough listening to him while the casual fans dislike him...

Since you can tell who plays or has played competitively by people's posts.

I know, I'm cool like that

/sarcasm.
All I'm saying is he actually knows about basketball compared to the other guys.... Thurl and Pace played but they are usually stuck with the likes of PK or DJ who are just talking heads... or Bolar who is there just for his voice, not his knowledge.

Inference FML.
I play basketball 4 times a week in 2 different leagues. How often do you play?

It's called sarcasm...

Also...Boone makes me want to throw up. He is the worse...

Harp is much like Jefferson. He's just trying to hard to impress Boler like Al is trying to hard to impress the fan base. With time, it'll come.

So Booner, a man that never missed games and won a championship, is a tard and less knowledgeable than a "tough guy" who managed to miss alot of games and never won a championship?
Got it.
