This will be a nice measuring stick for us, getting San Antonio at home. Spurs have pretty much owned us since 1999, so I am going to predict a loss...but more because we cant rebound or put teams away yet....

I will definitely miss work and see this game. The spurs look like they will again be dangerous. It'll be fun to see our new guys try and match up with the spurs.

We would need Fess in this one, and Sap and Al at 100%.

If the Jazz play like they have the past two games, meaning they fail to rebound and rotate slowly, then the Spurs should win. The main difference between the loss to the Thunder and win over the Nets is that Serge Ibaka and Russell Westbrook made their open shots while Devin Harris and Travis Outlaw missed theirs.

The Jazz win this game going away and putting money on it to prove my confidence in it.

The Jazz will get up for this game, but they are going to need big games out of Al, Millsap and Miles.

I'm still scared of these guys despite winning all 4 last year.

As long as that Duncan/Manu/Parker/Popovic core is together, I think I will always be scared of those guys.

As long as that
Duncan/
Manu/Parker/
Popovic core is together
Apparently the guys in that "core" better keep a close eye on their women.

no doubt.. crazy..what is up with tony parker messing around with Barry's wife?
Anyway.. no Sloan coaching this one. Wonder how Phil handles things? (zone..subs..).
Ehhh Jefferson still can't find that shot, and I wasn't too impressed with our rebounding.. if the Nets could hit an outside shot we probably would have lost.. I don't see us winning this game (Mr. Grinch mode)

I think we win this game with Sap and AJ going for 25+ each. Rebounds and turnovers will be are achilles heel, if we can keep turnovers below 10 for the game and win the rebound battle I think we run away with it

*Jazz shoot better in this game

Really good test game for this team, should be a good measuring stick. Still can't believe we swept them last year....
I have a feeling Blair is going to have a monster game...

Not to mention we played nearly perfect but OKC going 33/34 from the free throw proved to be the difference in the game.

So far San Antonio has played..
Pacers
Hornets (they lost here..)
Clippers
Suns
Rockets
Bobcats
Clippers (again)
76ers
Thunder
Bulls
pretty weak schedule so far.
Manu/First squad for the Spurs is the main reason they are playing well. Ranked #2 in the NBA in scoring so..honestly they have not been tested much. Key is shutting down Manu.. hopefully our improved defense will contain him. My worry is offense (mainly Bell and Jefferson).

I can feel it, this is going to be Duncan's breakout game offensively. Get ready to scream at the TV while he banks in 50 jump shots.

Same here

I don't have a good feeling about this one.
