He comes off the bench and chucks up shots. He can chuck them up in literally every way. Chucks shots up off the dribble, off of curls, off of cuts, post-ups, camping at the three point line. He does get rebounds and assists at a high rate and plays decent D, but fouls way too much and shoots a terrible percentage.

I expect him to drive to the basket if he's not hitting outside shots... to be a LAST option to take the game winner (but he still takes it..). Instead he's firing off 3's if he's open no matter what. Probably would do better in a different system/team.. sort of like AK would.

He should come off the bench for AK and defend the SG/SF of the NBA world in a decent way. And he does...that's why he stays on the court mostly but he's very inconsistent with his shooting.

Basically I expect him to be a solid player off the bench and in most ways he is. Just he has a shooting streak that can drive you nuts.

He's our 6th man, a very inconsistent 6th man offensively.
He does, however, play hard and hustle ever minute he gets.
I expect him to take better shots and play more with the team.

If your question is related to fantasy basketball then I'd suggest not picking him up. He's not going to help you win any category.

EDIT: He helps in points, 3's and a bit of rebounds if he's having a good game.

I miss Mathews so much. It's like seeing the girl of your dreams happy with another man. My heart hurts.

He plays with second unit made of new players and struggles to maintain shooting consistency, however with him on the court the Jazz usually outplay the opponent cause of his flawless shooting/driving style.

He's looking for a fantasy analysis. Specifically 5 cat, point, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks.

Miles is becoming a good volume scorer. Which isn't bad fora league without FG% or FT%. He's not going to give you much in any of the other 4 cats. His upside seems to be that of instant offense off the bench and I don't forsee his role changing this season.

Could he get more run next year with the possible departure of AK? Maybe, but, CJ has been beaten out by Brewer, Matthews, Bell, and I think that pattern will just continue into the future with Miles a 7th man for the Jazz.

If he got traded to a bad team, maybe the Cavs? He could probably put up 20+ ppg. But, that'd be pretty empty points as his %ages would be poor and he doens't contribute much else.

He has struggled to begin this year but dominated Anthony and carried us in the playoffs last year. I dont get why everybody hates him so bad. Oh and he is relatively cheap.

Pretty much a JR Smith clone without the crazy and some of the athletecism. You could lump Miles/Smith/Nick Young into one group as far as playing style goes, very high-volume, streaky scorers and exciting when they go off. CJ makes a lot of boneheaded plays, but he gives 100% effort.

He had a huge game against Portland, especially in the fourth quarter. But I don't like how often he shoots as a general rule.

Here's how frequent our guys shoot (FGA per 36 minutes):
Miles 16.2
Williams 14.6
Evans 14.4 (not enough minutes to even out yet)
Millsap 13.7
Jefferson 13.6
Price 10.6
Fesenko 9.9
Kirilenko 9.5
Hayward 9.8
Bell 3.4
Elson 3.2
Watson 1.7

Miles should not be shooting the ball the most per minute for this Jazz team. Kirilenko and Bell should be taking some of his shots, and Miles should learn how to be more effective in a limited role. But I do like that he is able to create a shot once in a while, and that he is dialing in from range.

He's a very talented player, he just needs to make sure he plays with in himself. He takes 2-3 bad shots a game it seems like which can completely throw him out of his rhythm.

With CJ we just need to ride the wave and hope its at a high come playoff time! CJ reminds me of Odom before the last couple years where he has nights where his head is not in the game!and nights where he is the one we need to get the ball to like tonight.
