He'll be taking most of Elson/Fes minutes. I think he'll get 24mpg playing back up center and PF to Al and Millsap.

I actually think the defense of Elson has been too valuable to the Jazz to lose him once Memo comes back. Memo will get some minutes to help spread the floor, but he won't eliminate Elson from the line up. I think he'll take most of not all of Fes's 9 minutes a game, and will cut about 4-5 minutes away from AK. That puts him up at the 15 minutes a game range which will be good for him to rehab. If all goes well he could take another 3 minutes from both Al and Paul, and be up in the 20 minutes range which would be awesome off the bench.
Deron/Watson
Bell/Price
AK/Miles
Millsap/Okur
Jefferson/Elson
That is an awesome line up if we continue to get the quality minutes we've been getting out of Watson and Price. If Hayward is able to give us anything this year we'd be golden.

I do hope we manage to keep Elson's minutes up, while the numbers don't look like much, he's been altering shots, crashing the boards (BOXING OUT!), and his stroke is beautiful. He's at 11mpg, I think we can manage to bring AK, Al, and Millsap's minutes down enough, so Elson gets his minutes, and Okur gets around 20mpg. When Okur plays great, he'll demand those 30 minutes, but on some other nights, we wont be able to keep Jefferson off the floor, or Okur is going to stink it up. I think placing a number on their minutes is pointless, Sloan probably wants to limit Jefferson, Millsap, and Williams minutes as much as possible, while retaining the highest level of production for the Jazz, 36 minutes will probably be his aim, but depending on the situation he's going to have throw in that second unit. I really could care less as long as we win.

I think Millsap's minutes are the ones that need to be reduced. Not because he has plyed bad or anything but the more he plays, the more he gets spent and his energy and hustle (his trademark) desert him. His rebounding numbers he last few games have been horrendus (less than Al), and I think it's in large part to that. When Memo comes back, Millsap can avg. around 28-30 mpg so that he doesn't get that spent or beat up and maintain his high production when he's on the floor.

While I agree that Sap needs more rest, I think you're making a mountain out of a mole hill with regards to his rebounds. He's had one bad game (yesterday) in the last seven, a stretch in which he's still averaging 7.7 rpg, and 8.5 overall. I've been pretty pleased with his overall game.

I think we're still guessing around Christmas. And it is unclear what his role will be upon return.

This is killing me....when is he coming back? It must be troubling for Sloan because of the type of "outside" center Okur is verses Jefferson. Is that making a difference do you think.... rotation, offensive set, plays etc?

Not sure waht else we can tell you. He's scrimiging, so that's a good thing. As far as I know Christmas is still as good of a guess as any.
But, he's coming off a pretty major injury, so expect him to be worked into the rotation slowly. What this means is that it's not going to crush you to miss him for a couple fantasy games as his first few games probably won't be that impressive anyway.

Who knows when we'll first see the real Memo, his taken a awful long break. Maybe not until like a month after he comes back.

It seems he is coming back next week. It will be good. But i don't expect any perfect performance in 1 month. It was a hard injury. He should come off bench and help the team for the beginning.

"It seems?" I've heard nothing. What's your source?
