You're joking, right? This, the guy that kept saying, I think it will be next week, no next week, no next week, maybe next month, well maybe by playoff time... This guy may have played through soreness, and that's about it.

I'll believe it when I see it. More likely, he plays one game, pulls himself out in the 3rd quarter and then sits for another month because he wasn't "100%".

Don't forget him leaving the team out to dry against the Suns for the last game of the season that would have given us HCA with a win...

By all appearances you have a Malady called Obsession.......defined as, a persistent idea or impulse that continually forces its way into consciousness, often associated with anxiety and mental illness.
Give it up dude, why should you care about Boozer now??

I don't know, maybe because he wasted a lot of peoples time and money around here with his menstrual cycle. Real fans understand. Isn't being a fan(atic), by very definition, being obsessed with a team or player? Yup, that would explain it...

Funny how Boozer always gets blamed for this loss instead of the players who played in the game. Also, the Suns played the best defense that I've ever seen them play and get no credit from our fans for that.

Boozer was made the scapegoat for a lot of the things that went wrong here. All I know is that Jerry and his teammates took every chance they got to defend him, and when he was on the court he brought it every night and played hard (though his effort on help D was lacking at times). I have no complaints about Carlos except that I think he could have made a greater commitment defensively, but that's a minor one. He was a fantastic player while he was here, he had some of the most memorable games of the last decade during his stay, and he dominated the boards more than any other player I've seen in a Jazz uni. I would kill for his defensive rebounding right now.

His defensive rebounding is a fat 0 so far this season. Sure he had some great games and stuff, but he was the hardest player to like as a fan, whether it was his constant injury problems, sugar-coating to the media, or scared play against Gasol, there was plenty to not like Boozer about. If you think this team would be 13-5 right now with Booz on the roster, you're dead wrong. Don't forget, Al Jefferson has played through a finger injury almost all season that no doubt would have left Boozer on the sideline, at least for this team.
I really don't sit there and think about Boozer anymore, but when a headline like this pops up on the tap, it gets my attention, and pisses me off, since he never once said he would play through the pain here.

Hes all mouth! Any pain whatsoever he takes himself out of the lineup gauranteed. The Bulls stress and play great Defense. It will be interesting to see how Boozer fits in because he does not play any defense. Just look how improved the Jazz defense is this year without Boozer. The Bulls will regret his signing when it is all said and done.

Boozer gets too much ****, but to say he brought it every night and played hard is complete crap. I wish him the best with the Bulls, though; he seems like a decent guy.

he knows what to say and who he is talking to. he just doesnt realize who else might be listening. actions speak louder than words. you cant get credit for being a hard worker by SAYING you'll play through the pain....
but this guy isnt new to the league. chicago knew what they were getting when they signed him.

Too harsh on Booz (not making excuses for him, just putting it right):
- you can not play through pain with a hamstring injury, just not possible, it has to heal fully
- the knee, they waited for him to heal up and didn't, had to do scope surgery to clean out the knee but the surgery was delayed because of wound in the scope area that had to heal - no way Booz could have done anything to reduce the delay
- muscle strain in rib cage is ridiculously painful, can't play through that pain, it just has to heal fully
- hairline fracture tibula, you can't play through pain with this, it has to heal fully
We can dump on Booz for getting injured a lot but we really can't dump on him for not playing through pain. It is not like Booz has had Kobe's injured pinky finger and had to play through some insignificant health risks and minor pain, rather, Booz' injuries were serious and with those injuries, it is just hard or perhaps even impossible to play through pain.

It's a true comment. How many rebounds has he grabbed this year? 0!

That remains to be seen but I highly doubt it. We have had 0 post presence the last 3 years and his offensive production and rebounding will more than makeup for his defensive ineptitude. And having a great help defensive player like Noah on his side should make up for some of his mistakes.

I doubt the Bulls will regret signing him unless he misses significant time during his stay there. He will lose some of his luster after a while because of his issues, but they'll be fine. Having Noah next to him should help signifcantly. If we had ever had a defender like Noah next to him I am sure his D wouldn't have been such an albatross.
I don't think any Jazz fans regret signing him, I certainly don't. He's a huge reason we are where we are right now, and we were a good team all but 2 seasons that he was here.
