Meh, and I still think AK is better along with Sap and AL, but having CJ being the 4-5 best option on this team isn't a bad thing.

I think we all think/know that CJ is one of the major deciding factors on whether we are a contender or not.

Miles has the talent to be a very good all around player but most of the time he seems more concerned about getting his shot. Love watching him when he's playing unselfish but sadly that's not frequent enough. At this point he's still 5th best and its his own fault.

Too inconsistent, not a good enough defender. He is better than Bell, but Williams, Millsap, Jefferson and AK are all better in my opinion.

CJ has been a good defender all season. Very underrated defender this year.

I think I'm in the minority on this, but I really don't like that we live and die by CJ Miles. When we have Williams, Jefferson, Millsap, Kirilenko and plenty of serviceable roleplayers, I get worried that the game is in Miles' hands more often than our all star caliber players.

That being said, I'm finally on board for him being an offensive punch off the bench. He has to have the green light to be effective. But I would like to see his role limited to 24 minutes a game at the same shots per minute he is at now. That way he'd still fulfill his role without being the guy that we count on the win important games. Let Williams and Jefferson work on getting that down.

Hanging our hopes of winning on an SG who shoots 41%/32% is terrifying.

Oh, brother.

You can't completely dismiss the stats. Considering we've played a quarter of the season you can see that Miles is very valuable to this team. It is clear to see that when CJ is good, the Jazz are really good and that is why his numbers are so inflated, when he is bad, the Jazz are pretty much easier team to beat.

I really like the way CJ is playing this year....... While he may not be the Jazz's third best player, it sometimes feels like he's our second most important player...... The way he plays off the bench, sure seems to correspond to whether the Jazz come out with a win........

He is too inconsistent and one dimensional for me to consider him the 3rd best player. He may score more points than AK but AK can defend, rebound and pass far better than CJ can so that keeps him ahead. I would also keep Jefferson ahead of CJ (and AK) since he has been blocking shots and playing great one on one defense. CJ is still the 5th best player on this team IMO. He gives us a great scoring option off of the bench but not much else. He has improved his defense and rebounding but he still has a ways to go in both of those areas before he can be considered any higher on my list.
