I am going to start betting a hundred bucks against the Jazz in the 1st quarter for the rest of the season. I should be able to retire by May.

Every time the Jazz had a run going or cut it to 6 or 7, the whistles started blowing, and the calls were stupid and one way. You didn't watch the game if you think the calls were even. It was 30-20 fouls by the time the Jazz were out of reach, and the Blazers were every bit as physical. I expect SOME home cooking, but it was too much.

It was about even. There were plenty of ticky tack whistles on the Blazers.

Trolling is ridiculous, but name calling is mature I'm guessing?

I was just flicking some crap, didn't think anyone would actually get riled up over it.

You're the definition of a troll. You knew damn well what you were doing. Go away.

I didn't realize anyone would value my opinion enough that it would make them upset, but now that I realize you do, please accept my apology.

Go Jazz!!!

I f-ing hate Portland.

I hate Raja Bell.

I hate Al Jefferson.

Trade everyone for Matthews.

So frustrated...

Blah, we match up better with them when Roy is playing.

I'm probably more ticked at the home loss because Portland wasn't a good road team coming into that game and we looked flat after the long break, was just inexcusable on our home court. This team is still trying to figure itself out. We looked like we were missing players. If you are a good team you won't notice so much when guys are out. But we looked like we clearly lacked depth tonight.

well to be fair, we were missing 4 rotation players. that's a lot for any team to deal with, good team or not.

but I agree, I'm not too upset about this game on its own, it's the Monday one that makes this one tough.

Utah would have been insane this year if they had kept Matthews and he was playing for them like he's playing for the Blazers.

Just sayin'

Just about every team does now. When Roy has played he still thinks he is the Roy of old when he is not and constantly takes us out of our offense. Plus his defense is laughably bad.

Another lackluster performance.......

Eve with AK/Memo/CJ out I expected a better effort......

What really is starting to worry me is how badly Paul Millsap is faring on the defensive end...... His offense is good, his defense has been pretty bad.......

Wesley Matthews is such a pimp. He is the best player on offense for the Blazers and he is ALWAYS defending other teams' best guard or wing. He is flat out amazing. He held Deron Williams in check both games, which is not easy, but was also able to score in a variety of ways against us.

Watching Raja Bell give us nothing night in and night out is so painful seeing what could have been this season for us if we had kept Matthews. Oh well...at least I can say I honestly do not feel sorry for the Blazers and all of their injury problems. Maybe they can steal better players from other teams to replace all the bums they drafted.

It's a bad thing to lose vs portland.

Still we were playing without important players to us (AK, Miles and Okur ) altough they weren't playing with all their players, of course.
Besides, Portland is a strog team at their house, and the most deceiving part for me it's not to lose this game... it's to lose 6 games at home at this point of the season.

Uhhhh...D-Will had 31 in the first game and 19/8 in the second game. Not exactly keeping him in check...

Not to woried about this lose with so many people out. Look i dont like the Blazers either but they are well coached and full of Talent! We were missing 3 huge pieces of our team tonight. I'm also down to trading Ak. If i have to watch him on the bench anymore im going to lose my mind! Just a question?how many games did Stockton and Malone miss with the Flu? I know there is probably a rule the NBA has but still.

Uh AK doesn't have the flu, he has back problems.
