AK to Sac for Frnacisco Garcia saves 20M.
It's obvious that the Jazz can't win it all this year and there's possibility that Mikhail Prokhorov will overpay AK next year if he can't get Carmelo.
And Sacramento players aren't so bad -> Ronnie Price.

I really expect AK to be dealt to cut the Jazz luxury tax obligations, just like Maynor/Harpring were last year......

But I don't think this is the deal......

What's Sacramento's incentive? They're not going to make the playoffs, so why would they pay AK a lot of money to lose when they can pay Garcia a lot less money to lose?

Sac is looking to dump Garcia and Udrich (long contracts) to gain flexibility so it makes sense for them, they may get better offer though.

There will be better offers than that. The AK/Diaw rumors from earlier in the season would've been horrible value for the Jazz. If the Jazz trade AK expect to be getting a shooter in return.

Speaking of Sloan, here's an attempt at an intelligent discussion about Sloan as a coach on another forum. The guy gets hammered because he doesn't agree Sloan is the greatest NBA coach ever. A lot of Jazz fans love the team, have plenty of passion but ignore reality.
