Deron: "I wont be doing 'The Decision'"

http://www.hoopsvibe.com/nba-news-and-rumors/articles/114168-deron-williams-on-free-agency-i-wont-be-doing-the-decisionWell, this leaves me confident that Deron is not a douche the likes of Lebron, but he certainly doesnt leave me confident that he will stay with the Jazz.
I dont think his "decision" will be met with much anticipation by Jazz fans. Unlike the Cavs fans who thought Lebron would stay...I have no doubt Deron has one foot out the door already (as if his playing like it is not evidence enough.)
As a ringless player, Deron will NEVER come CLOSE to being the Utah Jazz icon John Stockton or Karl Malone is. And the records those two men have wont be falling to Deron Williams....simple as that.
And as Utah Jazz player...Deron Williams stays ringless.
This man is leaving. And so would I. Its really not a difficult choice. Just ask Derek Fisher. "Hmmmm, Sloan and his 25 year old ringless system? Or rings?......yeah....thats a toughie."

It makes me sad, the fact that he says he wont be doing "the decision" still implies that he has had the thought of leaving. But I don't blame him. If he does leave I'll just become a fan of what ever team he goes to. EXCEPT the lakerslfiejfukcklj4rhj ;a

Funny to think people were arguing Deron was better than Stockton a few weeks ago, and now here we are, acknowledging that Deron's playing like he doesn't give a **** and is counting down the minutes until he can leave. Deron's a pouty bitch; sad, but true.
Take a look in the mirror and play like you have a **** pulse, instead of sitting in the corner with your arms crossed like you're a 7 year-old who hates his own birthday party. If you play your guts out and you're still frustrated at the end of your contract, then I'll wish you well. But for God's sake, man up, Deron...

True dat. I love DWill...he's been a ton of fun to watch throughout his career. But he needs to man up and look for solutions rather than complaining. I dont mind leaders lighting a little fire unde the asses of team and management now and then, but Deron is coming off as an ingrate who is owed a lot better than he has been given. He needs to let his play do the talking....which it hasn't as of late.

lol. Do you see the humor in pouting and bitching about how a player is a pouty bitch?

Dwill never asks for a trade, he usually just goes out and plays. Does he sometimes get frustrated? yup. Find me a premier player in the league who doesn't get frustrated occasionally, and we'll trade Dwill and for him.

I'm going to assume Dwill will resign with the Jazz, I will let the negative opinion that he leaves gain steam and watch the makers of this opinion gloat for they are the supreme fans who will tell you they are right, hail to those passing their garbage ideas off as wisdom. Long live Jazz fans.

Calm down...
1. Deron isn't just "going out and playing." He's sleep-walking through these games, then blaming everyone but himself for our struggles.
2. Deron is being paid millions of dollars to lead this team. A max contract comes with accountability and responsibility.
3. We can go round and round on this: you're a pouty bitch for bitching about me being a pouty bitch for bitching about Deron being a pouty bitch...
In summary, the difference between us: I'm upset that a rich basketball player, whose pockets I and thousands of other fans helped line with 15 million dollars this season, is taking no accountability for his actions and acting as though the world has put upon him terribly. Deron is the guy happily taking that 15 million dollars, but acting as though that money comes with no responsibility to lead the team or compete hard every night.

The Jazz will never be a championship team until their front office and coach change their mentality. The Jazz organization doesnt believe this group can win the championship this year. The Jazz fans dont think this team can win the championship this year. They all seem ok with that and I dont understand why! You can talk about how Portland and Dallas make trades every year tp try and win championship and they dont win it, but they believe they can try to make their team better to try and win the championship.
The Jazz organization doesnt believe they can win it so they do little other than money saving deals like last years trade of Brewer and Maynor. The fans and organization hoped the NYK pick was going to save us but Hayward is going to be a good player but far from the key player thats going to put us over the top. As fans, we will never win a champiionship with the current organization but we just need to be happy with being average.

The front office is just a business. All they see is the market value of this team, we are such a small and secluded market that they really wont put out anything EVER to put together a true championship team. All we can do is hope for a lucky draft pick or a trade that works out... true to Jazz fashion.

just read all the tweets from @tribjazz about Deron and the Jazz's struggles. Its really sad but i am also starting to really believe that Deron will bolt as soon as he can from the team.
i dont know why he keeps bringing up "running" when (like you guys have said before) he's the one jogging with the ball in his hands during the game. I think he just misses his little friends.

He should totally re-sign here and waste a potential HOF career in a system that doesn't give him a ring, a town that doesn't bring fame and fortune, and just watch it all piss down the drain...
Yeah, that'd be a good idea. I know I want my career path to follow that trend.

I don't blame Deron. Maybe his performance has been disappointing, but he's acknowledged that as well. He obviously wants to win, otherwise he wouldn't be making these frustrating comments. Who here hasn't made similar frustrating comments about the Jazz?
Deron's right: There's a fundamental problem with this team, and no amount of "trying hard" and "not feeling sorry for themselves" is going to fix that.

I don't think Deron has what it takes to win a ring. When the going gets tough, he doesn't.

This is true as of late this season, but historically, this is false.

You're right, that honestly was just a stupid frustration post.

I don't think it was that unfair a remark. It's not an absolute truth, but it's certainly not a total falsehood either.
