It's really hard for me to root for a player that's not on the Jazz. I like other players and I'm glad when they do well but I won't look for their boxscores or watch a game specifically for them.

I won't have any problems with Deron if he decided to leave Utah...... I probably wouldn't root for him since he will be on another team......
The only way I would root against him is if he tanked while he was in Utah.......

The only 2 ways I root for Dwont: 1. gets the jazz to the finals (yeah right) and 2. if he is in a wheel chair and paralyzed for life.

Not rooting for him any more. Not anti-rooting for him either. It's the Nets. They don't matter to me.

Not going to waste a lot of energy loathing him to the marrow of my bones now that he's gone (all I wanted), but when I see he and the Nets doing horribly in a box score, headline, or whatever, I'll smirk and be pleased.

One thing is, we will never know if he would or wouldn't have burned us at the end. We got back stuff and I will likely not see him but the very limited Nets highlights on Sportscenter. It's not like we are Cleveland fans who must avoid ESPN at all cost.
