Amazing player with insane potential. Seriously in love to have him.

Deron would of left for FA so KOC HAD to make a move to get something in return.

I noticed that's a college mix you got there.

I'm excited about him too. I'd kind of like to move Al now for a swing man with some scoring punch to complement AK and Hayward, but I'm also not going to too upset if we stand pat.

Just think about it: our big man rotation is now Jefferson, Millsap, and Favors. That's beast.

5.3 boards on 19 minutes per game is pretty good for a rookie. I can't wait to watch him play.

Have some patience, understand he is the youngest player in the league and had to put up with a bunch of **** this season, and you guys will love him.

OMG he is better than Boozer and Jefferson... j/k.

I hope that he pans out and starts clicking. He has a ton of potential.

i'm a nets fan .... first & foremost ...

DFavors has a VERY bright future ahead of him, not to mention probably the best attitude I have ever seen in an NBA player.

With the right tools & coaching, I still think he can be a beast. You guys will like him ....

Nets fan here.
Sad to hear Favors was traded. Even though he was a rookie, he's my fav player for sure.
You gotta give talent to get talent, and NJ did that along with Harris.
I hope he turns out to be a monster for you guys

I think we should really look in to getting a big man coach now.

Hell we can hold onto Jefferson for a while, by the time he's retiring Favors should be entering his prime.

We got a pair of super athletic young talents in the frontcourt with Evans and Favors. These two will be fun to watch. :D

Bring the Mail Man back.

D-Favors is an awesome talent. He'll be worth more than D-Will in the longterm if he gets the right development into him.

Good trade for you guys in the long term. You got yourselves the 7th pick (unless you win the lottery) and maybe a late lottery through (the pick is protected to the 8th pick, we were talking about it on another forum the other day) to the 14-20 pick next year (depends on how far you and Denver drop with GSW trying to make the playoffs.

Good deal Utah. Well played. Too bad it cost you Sloan first.

Hey guys, Blazers fan here. Huge Derrick Favors fan, I think you will be very happy with him in the future. The kid has TONS of potential. I was advocating that the Blazers trade Aldridge for his rights over the summer (that would be a little stupid now, looking back on this season)... He has all of the tools, he just needs time.. You guys got a good player for the future in Favors

Just as a comparison.. Left is Dwight Howard at the combine, and the right is Derrick Favors

Height WO Shoes - 6'9" --- 6' 8.75"
Height W Shoes - 6' 10.25" --- 6' 10.25"
Weight - 240 lbs --- 245 lbs
Wingspan - 7' 4.5" --- 7' 4"
Standing Reach - 9' 3.5" --- 9' 2"
No Step Vertical - 30.5" --- 31.5"
No Step Vertical reach - 11' 10" --- 11' 9.5"
Max Veritcal - 35.5" --- 35.5"
Max Vertical Reach - 12' 3" --- 12' 1.5"
Bench - 7 --- 14
Agility - 11.21 --- 11.74
Sprint - 3.14 --- 3.25

Hes gonna be a hell of a player... Good luck moving forward

I really don't think Sloan wanted to stick around for rebuilding. Just as well (for him) that he's gone. I like Tyrone Corbin overseeing the rebuild.

I've always loved this kid and I've always felt like he would turn into a stud before everything was all said and done. I wanted the NY pick to turn into really badly but that didn't work out, but now I got him here anyways. He is the only reason I'm not blasting the D-Will trade. The kid is only 19 years old and he has the body/athleticism to be an amazing player; not to mention a great attitude.

He will be an all-star at least twice in a Jazz uni. Book it.

Does this mean we can finally give up on Fesenko?
