Jazz problem is obvious!

Why The jazz have't won the last two games is obvious. Miles, Bell and Haywood can't shoot or play defense against the other teams 2 and 3, What a difference Mathews could have Been! The jazz should have traded for a shooting guard before the deadline. Pick up Cory Brewer by deadline and buyout Bell or Miles.

Haywood can't shoot or play D, but that Hayward is dynamite.

You are high as a kite, Hayward has been superb the last few games, he is getting comfortable and hitting shots. Easily the best perimeter shooter on the team.

Guys, he was clearly talking about Brendan Haywood. If you understand that, what he said makes perfect sense.

This isn't why the Jazz have lost the last two games, it's why we've lost nearly every game since New Years. Everyone knows the Jazz's weakness is perimeter shooting. Honestly, I know a lot of people scoff at the idea, but if we have two picks in this draft.... Jimmer baby... Jimmer.

If he is taken with what could be out 10-14 pick then I am fine with it.

Kyrie Irving and Jimmer Fredette would be a successful draft in my eyes.

Irving may have to be considered bc Harris has been inconsistent thus far at PG. Iwashopinghe would play better allowing the team to look for shooters in the draft.

I have nothing but love for Harris. Our offense has never looked like this during the last two and a half months with Deron(playing injured and all).
Anyway, I agree with the OP. Our 2-guard spot have been terrible this season. I say we just give Hayward half of Bell's minutes and whatever sub minutes he's been getting for SG & SF slots. If he gets too much then give the rest of the PT to Evans.
Also, Millsap & Jefferson shouldn't get anymore than 35 minutes. They can score for us but it seems like neither can get stops for us. Favors in 3 games have already shown he's better than both of them are defensively. Take 12-13 minutes each away from Paul & Al for Favors = 24-26 minutes.

Well, Hayward hasn't in any way a negative in the past two games (losses), and if anything, I really believe that his limited or non playing time cost us enough that it could be the difference between the 2 L's we got and a possible 2 W's. Hayward is by far, our best 2 defender and is a better shooter that the other available options. Hell, in a game vs Boston (2nd best team record wise in the L) he has a +20. Do you what that means. Allen did squat when Hayward was in defending him but he went off the instant he was benched. I don't mind Bell starting, but he has to be the "Sloan" starter that starts but plays just 15 mpg (a la Jarron Collins). Hayward HAS TO BE our MAIN SG PERIOD!!! I just hope Ty realizes it before it costs us any more Ws. (he didn't even play him a single minute vs Detroit
)

I don't understand why Hayward is so hesitant to shoot the ball....... He's coming off screens catching and doing nothing, just shoot the ball.......

I'll be the first to admit that I wasn't sold on Hayward early on, though I was certainly optimistic. But since then he's been real solid, and it's certainly not his fault when coaches go to vets instead of a young rookie, and he can't find rhythm. With that said, he's still shooting ok for a rookie, .438 .367 .732. I like his defense and energy on offense far more than Bell, and he's far more consistent than Miles. There is no reason in my book for him not to start and get major minutes at SG.

How dare Harris average 17/7/3 in his first three games with the Jazz while not being able to practice, or having had time spent with the other players on our team. HOW DARE HE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree that he has seemed afraid to assert himself and shoot the ball but at the very least he is impacting the game in other ways, hopefully he'll get the confidence to shoot soon.

I think he has the confidence to shoot. He took a step-back last night that was money. If anything, it's just a matter of getting him to realize that he's not being selfish when he puts one up, in my opinion. He's sort of the anti-CJ.

I like Hayward, I think he's going to be good, I just wish he'd assert himself more......
