This one could be ugly...It looks like Sap is gonna sit it out. AK/Fes are both questionable.

Evans and CJ will start...Locke says likely with Raja, Harris and Big Al...Rookies better prep to get some minutes!

edit: AK will likely sit tonight as well

Well win or lose it helps either way. And I think that memphis is gonna lose tonight (NYK) give them a beat down like you did us.

Lets hope for effort and a strong showing for favors & gtime.

Evans is going to start? Why not Favors? He can still play backup C even though he starts at PF.

Somewhat off-topic: what are the pins that all the Jazz coaching staff are wearing? Anyone know?

Tyrone said it was due to Evans having more familiarity of the system than Favors...I'm sure Favors will still get plenty of minutes.

Well, at least Gordon and Favors will get some minutes. Good to see Evans get a shot also, and I'd like to see Cousin get in, just because I always pull for these D-League guys to get a shot at the real deal. Must be mixed emotions for these guys when they get called up on a 10-Day contract, only to never actually get into a game.

Joey Crawford generally likes to go against the crowd (and draw attention to himself). Since we are the road team this will be a good thing.

Guys like Dick Bavetta are the opposite, they love the adulation of the crowd and consistently call in favor of the home team.

I really hope Sap sits so Favors can get the start. No reason to risk further injuring Millsap anyways.

This is one of those games where I don't care if we win or lose....sad I know.

In all honesty I won't mind losing since I'm way more excited for the draft and this would help us out in two different ways if we lose....

I know, I'm a horrible fan.

I am excited to watch this game. Our rookies should get some good playing time. I see us winning this game in a tight one. If Favors stays out of foul trouble he should get 25+minutes. I would like to see Gordon get 25-30 minutes also with some plays run for him.

A loss tonight might help the Jazz longterm much more than a win would.

First of all, it would give the Raptors one more rare win. It'd be really nice if they could climb ahead of NJ in the standings.

Secondly, the Jazz could potentially fall drop to the 11th or 10th worst record if they keep on their most recent pace.

No one wants to cheer for their team to lose, but ending up with two top ten picks in the draft this year would be help, even if the draft is weak.

+1, though I don't think 10th is very likely. Houston is on our tails, that'd play us in 12th, and it's quite a stretch already for GS to catch up, but certainly a possibility, that's 11th. Everybody else seems to be too far behind.

BTW, are Millsap and/or AK expect to miss some time? I just realized that Marcus Cousin is a 6'11" 245lb forward. We better give Favors plenty of run today! Also why can't Bell have an injury of some kind that makes him miss a few weeks. WE DONT NEED THAT SAP! Why does Corbin play him? I'm starting to think Corbin is more stuborn than Sloan, as he hasn't made a freaking lineup change (outside of those due to injury) since he's become head coach.

Toronto is terrible as they cannot rebound or defend whatsoever. Hay that sounds like the Jazz. This will be a close one like the Kings game as the Jazz have joined the bottom feeders of the league. If the Raptors win then the Nets will be on their heals.

on the bright side, Favors and Hayward should get plenty of time. Favors not starting is a complete joke by our moron coach Ty ****. Besides him needing the minutes, Favors gives us the best opportunity to win the game. Hayward not going to start either, as Bell getting the minutes for some reason no one can understand. Corbin is really getting on my nerves.

Why do people think that just because you don't start you aren't going to get a ton of burn? Anyone else remember when AK came off the bench to only play 30+ mins a night....

Ed Davis who I wanted the jazz to draft has been playing well, should be a good match up for favors.

Bc he doesnt need 30 min per game but 40 min per game. Get him out there and keep him out there.
