No, it's not the title of a children's novel.
Sundiata had 18 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals in 24min in tonight's loss to Indiana. He just signed for the year with the Nets.
You guys think he'll be able to make a niche in the league? I think he's got what it takes. If we didn't have Price under contract already, I would have liked to keep him on last year. Maybe we'll get another shot at him.

Re: A Big Game for Sunny D
Sunny D is better than Price offensively, quite obviously. Neither are much of a PG, but at least Sundiata can create his own shot and convert at a reasonable rate.
However, Price is much better defensively. I think Price is a really good 10th man on a deep, good team. Gaines is a better backup on a weaker team.
Right now I wish we had Gaines.

It's hard for me to say either guy would make it beyond this season. Neither could make a jumpshot to save their life. Ronnie seems to be regressing everytime he goes out there, his nba career is certainly on life support. Sundiata teases you with good games from time to time but hasn't shown the consistency. Coming into that game he was just 2 of his last 12 on FG's. Not too good.

I would take Sunny D back just to thank him for that game winner against Cleveland last season.
That said, I wouldn't give him much run.
