My thoughts on Harris

I think we're using Harris wrong. I think we're trying to pound a square peg into a round hole with him and it isn't working. He's not Deron. He's not Stockton. He's not a PnR PG.
I think what he is, or what he should be, is a Reggie Miller. Well sorta. Maybe a mature Allen Iverson.
I'd like to see him start sets without the ball. Run him off a double screen and THEN get him the ball. I believe with his speed, which is truly impressive, that he would be able to get free for a variety of open looks in so doing. Add to that his court sense, and the fact that defenses would probably be a bit disorganized after chasing him around a couple screens, I think his ability to make others better would be enhanced as well.
I think it'd put a LOT more pressure on defenses than using him as a set up man trying to initiate plays from the perimeter.
I dont' think we're putting much pressure on defenses since Deron left. And I believe this would be an effective way to start disrupting opposing defenses and getting the Jazz easier looks.
