Final 8 Utah Jazz Games for 2011

No playoffs this year.
My guess is 2-3, because I am trying to be positive.
2 WIN - 5 LOSS vs Washington - LOSS vs LA Lakers - LOSS @ Sacramento - LOSS @ LA Lakers - WIN vs Portland - LOSS @ San Antonio - LOSS @ New Orleans - WIN vs Denver

Washington, Sac, and NO.
How bad will NO be without West? Can Memphis catch them now? Hmmm.
If Pheonix or Houston make it in, it might very well be at the expense of NO.
I'd feel better picking 3-4 wins than 4-5. At least one game at the end will be meaningless for the playoff team (Denver, San Antonio?) and they might be in "rest the starters" mode.
Plus, that would screw us over.

There is a chance thta Golden State will pass us up in the standings, based on how well they seem to be playing.
My guess is that the Las Vegas odds have the Jazz winning one of the next eight.
Would that put our pick at 11?

While I agree that we probably wont win very many of our remaining games, Golden State has an equally difficult schedule:
OKC, Memphis, Dallas, Portland, LAL, Sacramento, Denver and then Portland.
So I doubt we move to 11.

Basically Golden St. needs to win 4 more games than the Jazz down the stretch. Even if the Jazz were to lose all of their games I don't see Golden St. winning four of theirs.

I am very encouraged by the win over the Lakers. Maybe we'll get another win or two before the season is over.

Only one game above Sacramento, I want some nice play and close losses for the last three. Sacramento will win their home closer.

The Jazz didn't win the two that I expected them to, but a they beat a couple of good teams that are not playing well as of late.
